How to go about it then? I can't find a way to
may background colour sticky for all new messages.
  Thanks.

Try creating an additional profile and see if the required setting
works as desired when using that profile.

AK I figured out that the profile is for displaying HTML, but for
AK composing it has no bearing. I still have no clue how to set HTML
AK background colour. Could it be a bug that prevents storing HTML
AK setting in the Account Properties | Template | New Messages?

Yes there seems to be a bug here. Please report to Bugtracker,

setting background colour for HTML message

2009-08-15 Thread Assad Kety
Hello All,

In Account Properties|New Message|Format|Document background, I change
the colour and then set viewer profile to HTML. However, when I open
a new message, the background is not the colour I have set in account
properties.

How can I change the default document background colour so that
whenever I open a new message, colour is set as predefined. Thank you.
