OH I SEE!!!  silly me - thank you for taking the time to explain it,
in that case BCC'ing is an excellent idea.

I have a similar problem but I don't think its TB! that is at fault.
I very often use a webmail interface to check my home mail at work 
vice versa.  If I reply to a message via webmail.  Then go home to
download the messages, TB! doesn't thread the 'threads' - I think that
webmail must be creating a different reference for each message
instead of remembering the original reference.

As I've got very used to viewing all my messages using threads.  Is
there any way around this?

I realise its not TB! that is causing these problems, I just wondered
if TB! could go someway to fixing it.  I prefer to view using
references, but is it possible to cascade the view, to say references
 subject?
