Sometimes the threading information goes missing (someone not using
TheBat! ?) and then the reply gets lost elsewhere in the list.

I have it set to:
Thread on references + subject
Sort on created date

For some reason when I set it to references + subject it changed the
sort order to subject too. But when went back in and changed that to
created date, everything is fine.

Missing folders

2007-05-13 Thread rich gregory
Hello Bat-Folk!

Using old-timey version 2.12...

Is there a way to force TB! to inspect the account folder tree to make
sure that there are no mail boxes missing?

I have sub-folders on the hard drive under the mail account's top level
folder that definitely have mail databases in them but that do not seem
to appear in the folder list from within the application.

In-box folders were created in The Bat! on another PC.
When we copied the folder tree to this PC some folders do not appear.

Some are sub-sub- folders so comparing the 2 PCs would be a pain...

Is there a way to get TB! to re-read the drive's folder tree under the
account main folder?

Thx all,
Rich

The undocumented shortcut ctrl+shift+alt+L does exactly this.

Unless you have a non-typical setup like:
System (OS) on HD F and The Bat! on HD D.

In that case the shortcut does something that comes as close as close can be
to nothing! :-(

FWIW - Works fine here (Thank you very much) - EXCEPT it 'finds' the
ATTACHMENTS folder and complains that it has a bad mail database in it.

 OS on C:
 TB! on M:
Mail folder on M: under TB! prgm folder

Probably always does this anyway, no matter where the folders are I am
guessing.
