Re: Deleting address history - SOURCE OF ADDRESSES
Hello MAU, The drop-down list (menu, as you call it) that appears when you start typing is a list that is built on the fly with addresses from Address Book, or To history or both, that match the characters that you have typed so far. You can see that it is built on the fly if, once it appears, you type one or more characters. So, as the shown list as such does not exist in any file (like the To history does) you cannot delete from it. If you want to delete one or more addresses, you will have to do so from the AB or the To history. You can set which addresses appear in the address dropdowns for To:, CC:, BCC: Go to Preferences -- Viewer/Editor -- Message Headers Edit the header you want e.g. To: Go to the editing tab and you'll see a variety of sources in 'While-you-type Actions' for suggestions and auto-complete. TB! really does have it all. -- Best regards, Tonymailto:t...@parkinch.co.uk The Bat! 5.3.8 Current version is 5.2.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Rad filters don't work
Batfolk, I have recently upgraded from version 4 of TB to version 5. I have a number of read filters which I use to file messages when I have read them, but these are not triggered when I mark the messages as read manually. If I set TB to mark messages as read when they are opened in a new window, the filter works as expected. Is this a known problem? Is there a solution? changed behaviour of copy/move in v5
Batfolk, I have recently upgraded to v5 of TB!. In v4, when moving a message I think the window to select the destination highlighted the current folder (or perhaps the root of the account?). Anyway, when moving a message from the inbox I could simply type the name of the receiving folder and it would find the folder of that name in the current account. I v5, however, it seems to remember the last destination of a move. So now when I type the name of the receiving folder, it often finds the folder of that name in a subsequent account, because the starting position was after the desired receiving folder. I have tried adjusting the option Remember the last destination of copy/move operations for each folder, but it seems to make no difference. Ideally I think I would like to go back to the v4 behaviour. Is anyone else troubled by the same problem? If so, have you found a work-around?
