The announcements make it seem that syspatch works for 6.1 and 6.2,
but syspatch directory wasn't updated since October 2017 for 6.1.

I couldn't find a reference in syspatch(8) that this only works
for the current release.

It would make at least a wee bit of sense to keep syspatch active
for all the patches that are released, but a simple "this is how it
works" and less ambiguous language would be fair as well.
