Really, you should switch to NetBSD 8 - even if IPF is not maintained at least the rest of the system is. And basically no one is going to try to investigate what's wrong with your system, if the kernel you're using is reaching EOL in one or two months... Unless you can reproduce the issue on NetBSD 8.
