Its not a problem on the kernel, just some login information not configured

Re: Call for testing: UEFI boot of current Rawhide images written to USB with dd

Adam, I tested with this same iso you linked here on two different
computers (acer aspire native UEFI and HP-G42 BIOS) pendrive (Sandisk
cruzer blade 16GB) using dd (dd
if="./Fedora-Everything-netinst-x86_64-Rawhide-20220802.n.0.iso"

Both booted fine to the installer, no problems here.
Hope this helps.

Re: libplacebo conflicts in f34 repo

2021-04-02 Thread Geraldo Simião Kutz
Hello Misterx42

You will see there is a new update now on RPM fusion from "mpv
0.33.0-6.fc34" and this new build solves the dependency problem.

best regards

Re: Installation summary screen at F34 spins doesn't show anymore the option to change Network and Host names

2021-02-25 Thread Geraldo Simião Kutz
Radek Vykydal (rvyky...@redhat.com) said on the devel list that this
seems to be a fallout of
https://github.com/rhinstaller/anaconda/commit/6b80b7b33c312faa69c22e4bdfe758f186d32786
and oriented me to open this ticket and set it with F34 Beta freeze
exception request.

So, how do we set a Beta freeze exception request?

F33 Cinnamon Spin Wallpaper

2020-10-06 Thread Geraldo Simião Kutz
Hi friends.

I was testing this iso on a VM today
(Fedora-Cinnamon-Live-x86_64-33-20201005.n.0.iso) and after the
installation it starts with a generic cinnamon wallpaper, and not the
standard F33 one (although its simple to chose it from the cinnamon
desktop).
For me it's not really a problem, but in comparison with the workstation
edition and the KDE Plasma one (wich starts right away with the official
F33 wallpaper), it's not better to keep the official F33 wallpaper as the
standard right from the start?
Best regards

Geraldo

Re: Boot Options

2020-09-17 Thread Geraldo Simião Kutz
I tried to test this on a VM but it does not worked, so I asked a friend
who have upgraded his F32 workstation to F33 with dnf, and he reported to
me that it worked fine for him, grub menu appears after this procedure.

Libreport not working properly on F33 KDE

2020-08-28 Thread Geraldo Simião Kutz
I already posted this on the IRC channel, but here on mailing it's more
appropriate.

While trying to send crash-reports this morning, report-gtk stoped working,
several times.

report-gtk killed by SIGABRT /
crash_function: __libc_calloc /
package: libreport-gtk-2.14.0-4.fc33 /
component: libreport
Kernel 5.8.3-300.fc33.x86_64 /
Plasma 5.19.4 /
kde frameworks 5.73.0 /
Qt 5.14.2 /

My installation is a F33 kde upgraded yesterday with dnf-
plugin-system-upgrade

thanks

Introduction

2020-08-19 Thread Geraldo Simião Kutz
Hi everybody.

Iḿ using fedora only for a few months by now, but i used linux mint since
2017.
I love the free software philosophy and principles, and have been attracted
to the fedora project way of collaborative work.

I'm very happy with my fedora32 kde spin.

I'm not a developer or a sysadmin, but a user and enthusiast who wants to
collaborate with the project.

I'm from Brazil and wanna help with testing and fedora promotion.
