Introduction to fedora-qabox

2019-03-15 Thread Yi-Soo An

Hi, everyone.

I am just writing this mail to introduce to my tiny project for QA Test
Updates.
In Bodhi, tons of updates are waiting to get tested, feedback and be
stable for pre-release and stable branch. To provide a test environment
for them inside containers, it began.

However, this project is based on Debarshi Ray's toolbox project[1],
which is really cool for developing and debugging software as it
described. Please see the link[1] more information.

qabox uses its own Dockerfile instead of toolbox using to create images
in which basically include testing tools such as fedpkg, mock(yet it
needs test) and so on. The following features are the overview of qabox,

- Test libraries and applications which are not only cli but also GUI
and sound are provided. For instances, mpv, vlc, and some games.
- Install dependencies for fedpkg local/install inside containers
instead of on your host, it's totally segregated from the host.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoy testing!
