[Texascavers] Potential cave lead on Mars

2018-01-03 Thread David via Texascavers
The attached photos shows a potential talus cave on Mars.

The dark abyss is allegedly at least 1/4 inch in diameter. But if you
look carefully at the grains of sand something is blowing or sucking them.
 Right ?

If you see the sagging-p*nis like formation, I feel a caver should name
this lead as Lead. Fill in the name of whoever you nominate.

[Texascavers] Soda-straws on Mars ?

2018-01-03 Thread David via Texascavers
The crystal in the attached photo is allegedly 1/4 inch long and allegedly
formed on the surface of Mars.

Dr. Halliday would call this a speleothem because it likely formed by a
similar process - gravity, capillary-pressure, mineralization from solid to
liquid back to solid, etc..

I've had a big brown in my house here in Missouri twice. They can come down the
chimney or even thru the clothes drier exhaust. Keep warm!

John,

It could be a big brown bat. They move around during cold snaps and they like
houses. Handle only with thick gloves. They bite!
