Minor correction to David’s correction of Geary’s post: Jacqui is correct when it comes to caving and friends. I am now in Alabama, though. Roll Tide! Regards, Jacqui J. [Texascavers] Groad Hollow
The Sacred Pilgrimage to Groad Hollow has begun for many cavers. At least 10 have already completed it. A special place to remember our wonderful friends who passed and left us, and to make new friends. Some of whom like me, are too busy texting to know they are here. https://photos.app.goo.gl/vgdMsQBkH2aUZoTM9 Rupley formerly announced his retirement. Jake Cox announced he is playing harmonica Wednesday night with Albert Ogdon and The Terminal Siphons at The Campground Party. Bill Steele says you all should be her. The night-time weather should be good for camping. but the ground is hard for tent-stakes, and the mid-day sun makes it hot for the campers without a large shade. Rudy Burnett and others and Susan Souby say "We wish you were here." [Texascavers] Groad Hollow sign
Attention Groad Hollow cavers going to NSS Convention. We need someone driving to Convention to transport the sacred Groad Hollow sign from Austin or San Antonio to the Convention grounds. It's easy, just a flat piece of 1/2 inch plywood about 16 x 28 inches. It could fit perfectly well on the floor of any van, pickup, or SUV. You'll need to be prepared to transport it back to Austin, as well, and see that it doesn't get lost. Deliver it to Pete Strickland or Gill Ediger. The sign, started by Peter Sprouse, has been to every NSS Conv since 1976. ___ Texascavers mailing list | http://texascavers.com Texascavers@texascavers.com | Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/texascavers@texascavers.com/ http://lists.texascavers.com/listinfo/texascavers
