Anybody from central Texas or Houston area going to the NSS Party ?
Getting to the party is not that crazy. It is the drive back, that would
kill me.
I could possibly leave Thursday after lunch from Houston.
However, I am pretty sure I have maxxed out my credit card.
As of 10:30 p.m., I am about to take a long power-nap inside my rental
storage unit in Brenham. I just now discovered a 6 foot person can sleep
in a fetal position inside of a Gorilla Rack.
I have to work Thursday morning in Houston.
Once I am done with work, and any obligations with my daughter, I "desire"
to hit the road.
If the Huntsville road-trip idea fails ( which I assume it will ), then I
"might" go to Reynosa, Mexico to celebrate New Years with my daughter and
my simpleton in-laws.
However, I have not spoken to the estranged-wife about that, and hope I
don't ever see her again.
The rest is this post is personal cr*p. Some people enjoy reading others
dirty laundry
I just spent the past 3 days intensely doing the traditional secular
Christmas thing, kissing *ss and being nice to extremely j*rkw*d family and
half-family.I do not hope lightening strikes most of those people, but
I do I hope I never have to suffer being in the same room with them again.
I had to disown at least 6 of them after Christmas Day dinner, not
including the estranged-wife and only brother who each deserved special
trophies for going unexpected psych*.
In summary, I need a vacation pretty bad.
But I am afraid I will end up staying home and just playing on the computer.
Santa brought me a new pocket-knife and a nice parka which I am wearing
now, and some wood that I used earlier this evening to expand the 2nd floor
of my rental storage unit.
My daughter got a really nice wetsuit suitable for a thru-trip in
Honeycreek. And my 3 year old half-nephew got a real caving helmet (
brand TomTom )
