I can’t say aboutothers but one of my friends working in Medanta hospital
Gurgaon was literallycrying while talking to me yesterday .

I had called herafter taking vaccination just to discuss post care after
vaccination . I tookmy shot on Sunday .

She has alsoreceived prime minister ‘s appreciation certificate as front line
dedicatedworker .

When Icongratulated her …….. she burst out . I was heartbroken ……

She said first timeshe is regretting for becoming a doctor . She said she
doesn’t mind wearing PPEkits and working for straight fifteen hours but she
gets disturbed by thebehaviour of some people.

She has to seeevery day hundred shades of human behaviours ………….

She has seenpregnant wife left by her husband when he came to know about her
being Covidpositive .

She has seen peoplenot claiming their relatives dead bodies.

She has also seenpeople loosing all their properties in saving their dear ones
lives .

She was saying shehas seen the different shades of human characters in these
last two years whatshe had not seen in previous thirty years of working career .

She said she isemotionally exhausted now . She can’t take the mental trauma
anymore . No onehad thought that this pandemic would never end . It’s going on

literate enough tounderstand the severity of the virus .

Q2              Howdo I clean water without a RO or filter and make sure it's
safe to drink?

A2              Gaurav Answered February 6, 2019

RO(Reverse Osmosis)is one of the process to treat water.

There are manyprocess which is use for water treatment, but selection of
process is based ontwo parameters, feed water quality or Source of water
(initial water) andrequired water quality (final water after treatment).

There are mainlytwo sources of water, Group Water and Surface Water othet than
rain harvesting.Ground water is present below surface like underground water,
and Surface wateris present above surface.

There are mainlythree type of impurities present in water and their respective
three process iscarried out for removal of there impurities. These are :

    Physical Impurities     Chemical Impurities

    Biological Impurities

Physical Impuritiespresent in water like sand, small stone, clay, colour,
odour, etc. These areCombined called as Total Suspended Solid (TSS).

Chemical impuritiespresent in water like Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Carbonate,
Bicarbonate,Sulfate, Nitration, etc. These are Combined called as Total
Dissolved Solid(TDS). It is responsible of electrical conductivity of water.

BiologicalImpurities present in water like algae, microorganisms,E-Coli,
bacteria, etc.

For removal ofthese Impurities, three process is used for removal of these
Impurities :

    Physical Process    Chemical Process

    Biological Processes

Physical Processlike Sedimentation, Screen, Pressure filter, Carbon filter.

Chemical Processlike Removal of Ions. Removal of Ions is done by, Softner,
Demineralisation,Gasification, Reverse Osmosis, Coagulation, Flocculation, etc.

Biologicalprocesses like Chlorination, UV, Sterilization, etc.

So back to yourquestion, you have mentioned water to be used in drinking
purpose. So, theprocess used is only based on your feed water quality because
for drinkingwater parameters is fixed by Beuro of India Standard (BIS).

https://www.indiawaterportal.org/sites/indiawaterportal.org/files/indian_standard_for_drinking_water_as_per_bis_specifications_2010.pdf

Conclusion : Ifyour feed water is too good than you can drink it only after
boiling, but ifyour water is too bad which contain large quality of physical,
chemical andbiological Impurities then you require a specific process of series
of processto achieve required water quality.

Generally DomesticRO system contain, Sand Filter (Removal Small, Sand, Clay),
Carbon Filter(Remove Colour, Odour) and RO Membrane (To reduce TDS). But it can
very bycompanies and their model.

Attention : I haveobserved many Household RO water TDS is too low, which can
create too manyproblems. Because after a time our body become lean in mineral
because theywere absorbed by drinking too TDS water. So please avoid using too
low TDSWater. Be Healthy, Be Happy.

Q3              Whydo Indians dry their clothes on their balconies or terraces
instead of dryingthem in the dryer of the washing machine?

A3              Bhuvana Rameshwar Former Teacher,Fri

India is a hotcountry except for the cold hill stations and during the rainy
seasons. So awashing machine with just a spinner is enough for us. In many
houses they don'teven have a washing machine as we have maids doing the
washing. Some placeswith water shortage find washing machines taking lots of
water. Hence theyavoid buying one.

So after the maidwashes the clothes or after using the spinner if using a
machine , a littlemoisture is left in the washed clothes. These we dry in
sunlight, or in abreezy place like in our balconies or in the terrace. The
sunlight, wind givesthe clothes a freshness that isn't got by a drier. The
smell of washed andsundried clothes is something to felt, it cannot be
explained.

A fresh blanket, apair of sun - dried pillow covers give good sleep too. Sun
drying also killsbacteria and other germs. Baby clothes, kitchen towels
especially should bedried in sunlight to make them germ - free.

P. S. The worldrecommends everybody to use solar energy to produce electricity,
saveelectricity ;

we Indians usesolar energy to save power, which may otherwise get used for
drying clothesusing a washing machine dryer.

Q4              Howdid cavemen deal with periods?

In a state ofnature women would very rarely menstruate, except the first time.
Most womenwould get pregnant as soon as they had been through puberty, and then
theywould breast-feed on demand round the clock (which suppresses ovulation)
forabout four years, then get pregnant again.

Q5              Ihave a bank FD with an ROI of 6.25%. I need to take a home
loan of the sameamount. What is good, break the FD or take a house loan at
6.75% ROI?

A5              Prasanna BhaleraoTechnology geek,Amateur Photographer, History
enthusiast 6h ago

There is no right answer or wrong answer.

The main advantageof the loan are:

It gives you money when you don’t have it;even if you have it, it keeps
your liquidity intact.    Rebuilding liquidity is a slowprocess.    Home loan
qualifies for a taxrebate.

The disadvantages are:

Where there is aloan, there is an interest to pay

If you exceed 22years on repayment, the interest will be more than the loan
principal atcurrent rates of 6.75%~7%.

On the whole, goingfor a loan is better if the job is fairly stable. You can
invest your liquidcash in market-linked investments and earn much more than
6.25%. Not only thatlong term capital gains are much more efficient than paying
regular income taxon bank FDs. But that is your choice.

Q6              Whyis refined wheat flour (maida) so unhealthy?

A6              Bhuvana Rameshwar Former Teacher,Updated Fri

Maida, refinedwheat flour is made from the soft, tasty endosperm of wheat
grain. That is whyit is a so soft to touch and gluten firms stretchy network to
give elasticityin the dough.

It doesn't haveother parts of the wheat grain so has no fibre, vitamin B and
iron. Sobasically it is nutrient deficient but has lots starch good for some
oneneeding to put on some weight urgently .

Wheat flour ishealthy as it is made from gri ding whole wheat grains , hence it
has huskbran, germ and endosperm.. All three parts are there.

Maida is alsochemically bleached to give its white colour.

What happens if somebody take foods made of maida formany months or years?

They put onunhealthy weight, they become obese,

They get affectedby obesity, life style related.. type 2 diabetes. Body sugar
is wasted in bloodand urine.

They have highercholesterol levels in their blood, a good cause for blocked
arteries, leadingto BP and heart problems.

Maida is notoriousfor causing constipation and piles sometines leading to colon
cancer . This iscommon in people with long hours of sitting jobs like IT, bank,
offices and inlorry drivers.

Most people eatmaida unknowingly in bakery foods like cakes, pizza, doughnuts,
samosas, whitebread, buns, noodles, maida paranthas, naans, parotta, bhutara
etc.

P. S. Rava orsemolina is equally bad as it is nothing but maida but in a
coarser form, without bleaching . Rava is also devoid of wheat outer cover
fibre, vitamin Band iron. Common food items made of rava or semolina are upma,
rava pongal, sooji halwa, rava dosa, rava sweets, porridge, khara bhath and
kheer.

Q7              Whichmetal vessel is best for boiling water for drinking?

A7              Saurav Singh Chahar, formerMechanical Engineering Answered Thu

Stainless steel isnon-reactive, hypo-allergenic, tough, stainless, and
inexpensive. It does notdissolve in water and does not impart any taste to the
water. It conducts heatbetter than glass and is easier to clean than glass.
Aluminum, stainless steel, and cast iron are all good.

2ND ANSWER- Ritwik Sunny, former CustomerSupport Executive at Ashok
LeylandAnswered Thu

It is safe to boilwater in a stainless steel pot. Of all the cookware out
there, stainless steelis one of the safest. It has both a higher melting point
and higher thermalmass, so it safely heats to the 212 degrees F needed to boil
water. T-Falstainless steel cookware is heavy duty and a leader in the industry

Q8              Aremales a mutation of females? That's what someone on Quora
said.

development.

The iron blade ofsoil digging tools has a ring in which the wooden handle is
fixed. To fix thehandle, the ring is heated and it becomes slightly larger in
size (expands). Therefore, the handle easily fits into the ring. When the ring
cools down, itcontracts and fits tightly on to the handle. Metal tools are

Q10            Whydo birds and planes not fly above the Jagannath Temple of
Puri?

A10            Shaunak Bhattachharje Visited 16Indian States | 7 Countries | 3
Union Territories July 15

There are many suchmyths that were started by the priests at the Jagannath
Temple and have beencirculating in society. All of them, including these two,
are, however, fake.To stick to this question, I will just share the facts
regarding these twoclaims in the hope of clearing some of the superstitions.

Firstly, you mighthear that planes cannot fly above the Jagannath Temple. The
reason is thatplanes follow a route, they do not just fly anywhere in the sky
and there areno flying routes that go above the temple. Plus, the airspace
above the templehas been declared as a ‘No Fly Zone’. However, that has nothing
to do with themyth, if someone wanted, they can easily fly over the temple. For
example, thishelicopter flew above the temple and you can fly your drones too!

Secondly, the mythabout birds. If you have been to the temple at Puri, you will
know that thetemple is a safe haven for pigeons and monkeys. The walls of the
temple areflocked with pigeons and they always flying over the temple. The
reason I saythis is because I have been to the temple twice in recent times.
Not just birdsbut monkeys too jump over the temple structures. Here you can see
a few birdsflying near the main temple’s dome.

There are many suchmyths like the flag flying in an opposite direction to the
temple which isabsolutely wrong. Then it is said that the temple doesn't cast
any shadows butyou will find the priests resting under the shadows cast by the
walls of thetemple only. Each and every rumour has been busted, these are only
spread toattract more blind followers to the temple.
