Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design
patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC.
Our primary goal is to provide a structured framework that enables PHP users at
all levels to rapidly develop robust web applications, without any loss to
flexibility.

 In [8132] I added a test to try and reproduce your issue. I was not able
 to duplicate the double model field in the input.

Comment:

 I looked at your code as well. You are using {{{$form-label()}}}
 incorrectly. The first parameter is supposed to be 'Model.field' Not just
 the string you want to output.

 There are many test cases to cover this method. All of them are passing.
 Perhaps you can provide code to reproduce your error?

Comment (by skylersully):

 I've uploaded the models, controllers, component and view I am using which
 should reproduce the error. In order to save you time, I marked non-
 default functionality with notes starting with TO CAKE DEVELOPERS:
 There are about 4 notes.

 I should also note that I removed the ? $form-file('Thumbnail.file') ?
 in order to use a static input field. I still get the same result.

 Correction. XHTML output is like so:
 input type=file name=data[Thumbnail][Thumbnail][file] value=
 id=ThumbnailThumbnailFile /
