[tw] Google Wave feature for TiddlyWiki

Thanks for the kind words on NoteStorm, Tobias. I hadn't noticed about the magenta. How did I not see that? I will have to change that. Alex, the tabs have been iin the topmenu for months, Morris Gray actually did that bit first with his TW-Notes. I resisted at first but suddenly got hooked on it. [tw] Tags tagged with 'excludeLists' continue to show up in lists
After getting help from Måns with getting 'excludeLists' to show up in the tag list -- and a reminder from Morris that I could've used TiddlerTweaker to do mass tagging -- I finding that some tiddlers and tags tagged with 'excludeLists' continue to show up in lists. Re: [tw] Re: some personal stuff...
Tobias, Re : http://goto.bplaced.net/index.html#systemConfig Link from ::tags popup - opens tiddler above the tiddler, But Link from ::tagging QuickOpenTags ('script' in this case) opens above, But ::tagging opens tiddler below I think it would be better if all tagging opened below. Re: http://goto.bplaced.net/pearlSub.html#Download The tiddler references in the MainMenu sparked off a memory of a fuzzy idea. It has two elements 1) FNDs [ http://svn.tiddlywiki.org/Trunk/contributors/FND/plugins/TiddlyViPlugin.js] 2) Contol keys for BBC micro games like Planetoid [2] : z = 'left'] , x = 'right' etc. The idea is about navigating the tw like computer game. With 'ref' in MainMenu use 'z' or 'x' to cycle though refs backward and forward. (the movement is hoizontal as the links to the tiddler in focus are at the same heirachical level, in other words ignore classification ::tags and ::tagging. Up and down controls would go though tags (up) and tagging (down) moving up clasification catagories Then the document can be navigated in fast, fun and new ways. It would get interesting and a (bit trippy) when ::tags , ::tagging and ref ( '::ref' ?) routes from strange non-heirachical navigation trails through the document. I must say, I really like that creamy colouring of NoteStrom it's quite a visual distinction to most other wikis around. [tw] loading and displaying tiddlers from purestorefile
Hi All I am hoping someone can help me with some code, thats a bit too complicated for me to figure out even where to start.here's the story... Amongst other activities, students periodically write reports on their learning path. These reports have two parts (tagged resume and reflections...however there may be many tiddlers tagged resume and similarly reflections for each report). These tiddlers are generated by the students from within their locally-hosted TW and saved (SaveAsPlugin) as a local purestorecode file, where each report is separate purestorecode file with multiple tiddlers (tagged resume or reflection). Once the report is finished this report file is simply uploaded to my server (using a simple uploader script - thanks Mans!!). Now, I want students to be able to read each others reports. A central (online TW which I administer) has a list of students in the course and can easily have a list of these report files (tagged as reports and tagged by student name) whch would hold the URL to the report purestorecode file - I am using purestoreformat as there will be many of these reports and my server space is limited. Each student´s local TW can read the central Course TW (LoadTiddlersPlugin) looking for the tiddlers marked as reports.so far its all simple stuff.. Now the question is how do I have them - select the student/report that they are interested in load in the tiddlers from that report file... display the "main" tiddler from that file (each file has a tiddler that has the same name as the filename {for file "ReportFred_2.html the initial tiddler is reportFred_2} with NewHerePlugn generating the new tiddlers liked to this main one and also tagged resume or reflection...tagglyTagging is installed so it will take care of subitem listings. My students aren´t super competent in computar skills...so I am looking for a script whichshows the selection available...and when they make the choice..it loads (ExternalTiddlersPlugin?) the tiddlers from the file and displays the main tiddler (same name as file). Is all that possible? Thanks in Advance Skye -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] A tree view diagram
Hi I am trying to create a sort of treeview diagram of tiddlers linked through costum fields. Lets say I have 6 tiddlers, "TiddlerHead" with no input in field "myfield" "TiddlerNeck" with the input "TiddlerHead" in field "myfield" "TiddlerRightArm" with the input "TiddlerNeck" in field "myfield" "TiddlerLeftArm" with the input "TiddlerNeck" in field "myfield" "TiddlerRightHand" with the input "TiddlerRightArm" in field "myfield" "TiddlerLeftHand" with the input "TiddlerLeftArm" in field "myfield" "TiddlerFingers" with the input "TiddlerRightHand" in field "myfield" and "TiddlerLeftHand" in field "myfield2" Now my goal is an output like: TiddlerHead 1. TiddlerNeck 1:a TiddlerRightArm 1:a;i TiddlerRightHand 1:a;i-1TiddlerFingers 1:b TiddlerLeftArm 1:b;i TiddlerLeftHand 1:b;i-1TiddlerFingers I cant find a plugin that quite does this (cf http://tinyurl.com/qahkgm) - non sorts through costum fields, and that is what i want. So instead I am trying something like (be warned this may hurt real programmers eyes) (http://groups.google.com/group/tiddlywiki/browse_thread/thread/ 5faa95cbd66cf884?tvc=2) --- /% !out $1 !end %/<> -- And then I would be able to put - [[TiddlerHead]] <> - Into TiddlerHead¨ But the code above clearly doesnt work, and I cant figure out how to go beyond the first target. The following code inserted into Tiddlerhead almost does what i want, but it is obviously not a usefull code. --- /% !out $1 !end %/<> -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] Re: Upload files script
Hi Tobias Revealing ignorance on my side - I knew that was a bad phrase when I wrote it. > "I will try if I somehow can extract the fields from the php's" Almost all the uploadpackages are working in php "dous" or "trios". There's a php for configuration another for the activity of uploading and a third which is merely an inputform of some kind... I'd like to replace the inputform with a tiddler inputform making "calls" to the php doing the actual work.. Something like Eric Shulmans send form. It uses an external mail.php. I haven't got a clue - and I have never tried to do it - but I will try to investigate Eric Shulmans send form comparing it to a mail.php script and see if I can find some kind of connection.. If you have some hints - I'd apreciate it :-) Regards Måns Mårtensson -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] Referencing the tiddler.title within the same tiddler
First, Happy Thanksgiving to the Americans, and belated Thanksgiving to the Canadians. My question is how to reference a tiddler's title within a tiddler. For example; I have tiddlers where the title is a jobnumber/workunit. The tiddler contains a forEachTiddler macro to list all the tiddlers with that tag. For example, I have a workunit tiddler 'job12345', which is also a tag used for journals. This tiddler contains a forEachTiddler macro with a 'where tiddler.tags.contains ("job12345")'. Currently, to create a workunit tiddler, I copy an existing workunit tiddler and edit the 'where' clause for the new tag value. I'd like to simplify the process by using a template where the 'where' clause simply contains a reference to the tiddler.title of the tiddler containing the macro (not the titles of the listed tiddlers). Another identical use in the same application is tiddlers titled by date (-mm-dd) listing all the journals (date and timestamp titled) for that date. currently, I create that tiddler by clicking on a date from the calendarPlugin display and copy in a forEachTiddler macro from the previous day and edit the 'where' clause. If I could use a template for that, I could eliminate the edit 'where' clause step. Thanks in advance!
