hi Seba The problem is with on newReminder. The computer thinks ‘that means end of newTiddler macro’ One workarround i can think of is putting newReminder in the view template. [tw] avoiding enormous number of tiddlers - projects and tasks
Hi, I want to setup a monitoring and communication (or delegation) tool for projects and tasks and I would like to avoid enormous number of tiddlers resulting from the number of tasks created. Is it possible to have tasks just as part of a project tiddler while still being able to delegate (taging with person) and having reminder attached to it. I was thinking of doing this with parts but I am not very certain it would work. I can do this with separate tiddlers but then I am not sure about the stability or I would have to somehow archive completed projects. Btw I checked mGTD and D3, but these are to complex and don't fit to my concept. thx for help regards, Sebastjan -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. [tw] Notetaking tool like Notational Velocity on TiddlyWiki basis?
just a spontaneous idea: can someone build a tool like that based on a TiddlyWiki infrastructure? i think i'd love it. it would need a sort of micro-client though, like NV http://notational.net/ The same area is used both for creating notes and searching. I.e., in the process of entering the title for a new note, related notes appear below, letting users file information there if they choose. Likewise, if a search reveals nothing, one need simply press return to create a note with the appropriate title. If a note's title starts with the search term(s), that title will be auto-completed. This selects the note and consequently displays it. Correspondingly, selecting a note places its title in the search area (De-selecting the note restores the search terms). ... try to maintain one detail/fact/item per note ... Notational Velocity can search thousands of notes at once and works best when information is distributed. the TiddlyWiki would be the backend, for organizing etc. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. [tw] Help needed for an experimental plugin : strange behaviour of a textarea element
Hello, I'm trying to do some simple work in javascript :-) I've tried to rewrite Udo Borkowski's DataTiddlerPlugin using a hidden section instead of storing the data in a data.../data block, Data (coming from input forms or from code evaluation) are stored inside the hidden section (named JSON) as a stringified JSON object : /% !JSON {slot:value} !EndJSON %/ Thanks to Eric Shulman whose plugins from http://www.tiddlytools.com/ and discussions on the TiddlyWiki group were of great help. I want to use this tool with macros that create input forms. It works well with elements of type input, checkbox, radiobutton. But not with textarea. [tw] Re: Notetaking tool like Notational Velocity on TiddlyWiki basis?
hi I think GotoPlugin[1] and SearchOptionsPlugin[2] do most of your typing, searching thing. If you type. After 3 chars gotoPlugin starts to display tiddler titles in the list. If your tiddler is not there hit ctrlenter and a empty tiddler will be created. If you hit shiftenter it searches the term inside tags, fields, and the body text. Read the Infos [1][2] below. Maybe it is part of what you want. Have a look at TeamWork[3] TW. You can play with it there. havf fun! mario [1] http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#SearchOptionsPluginInfo [2] http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#GotoPluginInfo [3] http://hoster.peermore.com/recipes/TeamWork/tiddlers.wiki On Jul 28, 6:48 pm, jurij m. lotman martin.lind...@gmail.com wrote: just a spontaneous idea: can someone build a tool like that based on a TiddlyWiki infrastructure? i think i'd love it. it would need a sort of micro-client though, like NVhttp://notational.net/ The same area is used both for creating notes and searching. Hi, I think your regexp is wrong test this. It is not a solution, but may be some pointers. var text = store.getTiddlerText(tid.title+'##JSON',{}); var pattern = /(!{1,6}JSON[\s\S\n])([\s\S\n]*)(!{1,6}EndJSON)/im; var te = pattern.exec(text); if (te != null) { result[0] = te[0]; oldval = te[1]; result[2] = te[2]; } else { result[0] = ; } console.log('parts: ', result) This is, what the regexp does. lines not starting with an x are broken by the list x( + // Match the regular expression below and capture its match into backreference number 1 x ! + // Match the character “!” literally x {1,6} + // Between one and 6 times, as many times as possible, giving back as needed (greedy) x JSON + // Match the characters “JSON” literally x [\\s\\S\n] + // Match a single character present in the list below x // A whitespace character (spaces, tabs, and line breaks) x // Any character that is NOT a whitespace character x // A line feed character x) + x( + // Match the regular expression below and capture its match into backreference number 2 x [\\s\\S\n] + // Match a single character present in the list below x // A whitespace character (spaces, tabs, and line breaks) x // Any character that is NOT a whitespace character x // A line feed character x * + // Between zero and unlimited times, as many times as possible, giving back as needed (greedy) x) + x( + // Match the regular expression below and capture its match into backreference number 3 x ! + // Match the character “!” literally x {1,6} + // Between one and 6 times, as many times as possible, giving back as needed (greedy) x EndJSON +// Match the characters “EndJSON” literally x) hope this helps have fun! Sebastjan, I don't think using content within tiddler rather than as tiddlers for tasks is going to make alot of difference.
