Hi Chris,

Thanks for replying, and I found today that I can upload without problems
now. If I encounter a problem in the future, I'll provide the details as
suggested :)

2011-10-06 Thread mezcalbean
Hi easy Q,
when we have external links located away from Wiki the current way
people have to view the files without loosing the Wiki is right click
new window - is there a way to view external files in a new window?

Thanks !

[tw] Re: Generate Multiple RSS Feeds

2011-10-06 Thread Stobot
Thanks for the reply Josep, but although the name sounds promising,
the description reads:
"Only tiddlers with a specific tag are inluded in the RSSFeed. If no
tiddlers are selected then works as before"

If there's a way to configure it for multiple tags/feeds that I'm not
aware of - please let me know.

@Eric, also I'm noticing that with the SaveAs doesn't seem to want to
do quiet mode even when specified... For example of one of the
Generate buttons (trying a button for each feed I want to maintain)
<>
when executed brings up a "Please select a target path/filename
dialog" (Firefox) or "Open" (Internet Explorer)

I'm assuming then that nobody else has a saved version of the
MultiRSSPlugin from before Lewcid went down eh?

Thanks for everybody's time on this, I really appreciate it!

[tw] Attention: typewith.me changes to willyou.typewith.me

2011-10-06 Thread Måns
Hi TwWizards

The etherpad clone typewith.me has been pretty unstable for a while
now - and a lot of pads have been deleted/lost - now it has undergone
some changes and the url is now: willyou.typewith.me.
I hope it will be much more stable... (I've made a habit of doing
backups of typewith.me pads ...)

@Tobias
You might want to change the typewithmePlugin at
http://typewithme.tiddlyspace.com/
so it will use the new url? - That would be great :-)

The new interface seems faster and provides a better gui for small
screen devices.
Now you don't have to click "create new pad" when you have made a new
url - you simply write:
http://willyou.typewith.me/p/my-unique-url and a new pad is already
created when you click the link!!

>From http://typewith.me :
>Attention TypeWith.me users!

>version is now available at >WillYou.TypeWith.Me! This version brings some

>The old version, at http://typewith.me, will cease operation on October 28th.

[tw] Re: Question regarding createTiddlyButton function

2011-10-06 Thread PMario
insideTW [1] is a good resource to start searching. You can search
with Erics great search box, and get an info how to call the function.

eg;
createTiddlyB ... you are there allready.

createTiddlyButton = function createTiddlyButton(parent, text,
tooltip, action, className, id, accessKey, attribs)
It gives you an overview about the possible input parameters and the
_tags_ area tells you, that the function is part of "utility.js",
which can be found at github [5] repo.

then you can go to tiddlywiki.org or oldwiki [2] and get a more
textual descripton.

then you can have a look at my examples, and try to figure out, how it
works.

the jQuery API documentation [3] is a very good source too, if you
need info about $ stuff :)

Mozilla Dev Net .. MDN [4] should be a number one link about basic
documentation, and background stuff about JS, HTML, CSS the DOM
and much more.

hope this helps.

This definitely gets me one step closer (allowing to export by tag and
put in a button so it's only one click per tag).

Still hoping to find something that's more automated
- Best case would be something more like 6-12 different tags/feeds to
output to.
- None of the other 10 or so contributors has even heard of TW, and so
everybody remembering to manually build the RSSs after each edit seems
doomed for at least partial failure

If there's nothing else out there specifically to tie into replacing
the RSS generation that happens automatically with save, am I right
about how I would implement this:
Feed1:
<>
And then repeat buttons for all the other feeds I'd want to build?

It would be cool if there was a BeforeSave event I could dump all the
macros in (similar to how systemConfig essentially works as an open
event)

I just uploaded an image without problem so there doesn't seem to be a
general issue with uploads.

Can you provide more details on:

* which upload interface you are using to attempt your uploads
(something in the backstage, a macro in a tiddler, a raw PUT with
curl, etc)
* the time and date of when you've tried
* the names of the files
* the browser you are using
* any error messages you are receiving

Thanks.
