[tw] Re: TWC: How to make or alter a button, please ??
Open SideBarOptions saveChanges Backups are set in the Options slider. SaveBackups. Have a look in AdvancedOptions for where to put the backups. Now from your earlier questions in this group, I imagine you are asking because of your troubles with your tiddlyhome? Then you must have a look at Uploadplugin, TddlyHomeUpload and SaveToTiddlyHome etc. Mind you I have no experience setting up or using tiddlyhome apart from trying out another persons Tiddlyhome. Re: [tw] Re: TW5 on IOS via TWEdit
Aha - there it is: Download Offline Snapshot There are many levels to my ignorance. Thanks, Xavier. Works perfectly on TWEdit now. So if I want to use slides on my computer for display I can still have notes on my iPad. All I need to do is update the offline snapshot before each lecture. The only remaining piece of the puzzle is to get a slide template for TW5, so that I could avoid having to use presentation software. [tw] [TW5] - Change theme according logged user
Hi all! I'm testing the TW5 to be embedded in an application I'm developing (Apache FLEX) as IFrame, and I'm thinking a way to toggle the appearance depending on the user logged into the system (login is done in PHP and mySQL database). . I thought of something that makes a comparison between a field recorded section (if (! Isset ($ _SESSION ['usuarioID']))) and the content of the tiddler $:/status/UserName. If they match it switches to the Snow White for example, if they are different it gets in readonly! Where could I create this comparison? as Macro? Plugin? Re: [tw] [TW5] - Change theme according logged user
Hi Gustavo Assuming the TW5 file is being served from the same domain as the wrapper HTML file, you should be able to handle it very simply by reaching into the iframe and setting the theme by setting the $:/theme tiddler. Something like this: var hostIframe = newWindow.window.document.getElementById(myIFrame); hostIframe.src = myTiddlyWiki.html; // Relative URL of tiddlywiki file hostIframe.addEventListener(load, function(event) { var $tw = hostIframe.contentWindow.$tw; $tw.wiki.addTiddler(new $tw.Tiddler({ title: $:/theme, text: $:/themes/tiddlywiki/snowwhite })); }); Best wishes Jeremy. Most of the Community experiments listed at tiddlywiki.com are tiddlyspt driven. see: http://tiddlywiki.com/static/Community.html And TW5 supports it out of the box (kind of). I'm imagining that having save-a-tiddler serversides properly supported in the TW core will mean save-a-whole-wiki serversides, like current tiddlyspot, will become less important. Possibly there's a future tiddlyspot service for modern tiddler-at-a-time saves in a form that's simple to setup and manage. Nevertheless although I'm just one of the people who make tiddlyspot go, I'm happy to keep classic tiddlyspot up as long as people want it -- as a free, unsponsored service we're powered by love for TW and people's generosity. We sometimes get enough donations in a year to cover annual hosting costs :) Cheers ;Daniel -- Daniel Baird retro objoke: Chuck Norris had a problem so he decided to use regular expressions.
