I'm sorry. A little bit at loss here.
No idea what precisely you'd be referring to.
Anything I can reproduce somehow?

Best wishes,

Tobias.

[tw] Re: [TW5] Transcluded Menu Bar for Tiddlers in a Tabset? (Using /tobibeer/inc Plugin?)

2016-02-25 Thread Scott Simmons (Secret-HQ)
Funny you should mention that, Andrew — !

I took a stab at modifying inc but ultimately decided the best solution for
me was to write a simpler macro of my own and add it the core tabs macro to
display a "go to" button in tabsets. I've been pleased with it, but I
*just* tore into it on Tuesday night to try to make it compatible with
substories as well as tabs. I'll take a look after dinner, see if I can
clean it up, and post the tiddlers here later tonight. :)

[tw] Re: [TW5] Updated Plugin: tobibeer/inc 0.5.2

2016-02-25 Thread Andrew Whiting
Hi Tobias,

Does this fix the problem Scott was mentioned where changing
$:/core/macros/tabs. was causing the following in the info panel?

   - Only the most basic fields (caption, tag, and title) get listed under
fields. (Look at a plugin tiddler for comparison.)
   - Tagging, References, List, and Listed all show as empty (even if
they're not for the current tiddler).
   - Advanced displays information about $:/core/ui/TiddlerInfo/Advanced rather
   than the current tiddler.

Thanks!

Andrew

Wouldn't know about that, never been a manager / owner of this group, made
you the latter in the new group.

Best wishes,

Hi Tobias,

in fact I was considering doing so, that's why I've asked about moderation
policy in *this* group: it strikes me as quite successful in terms of
spam-fighting, so should be used in the new group as well. Anyway, thanks
for creating it. I'll try to publish some new plugins and announce there
shortly to get some more attention there.

Best regards,
Yakov.

[tw] Re: Very slow on android

2016-02-25 Thread HC Haase
I found a workaround that helps, but require a bit more manual work.

I simply keep a clean (with no plugins) TW for mobile input and then later,
on a pc export the tiddelers with my mobile input and import it in my main
TW (and optionally back to get sync).

Using the clean TW cut the boot time in half.

[tw] Re: Making linear documents / compiling a report for export. Best practice

2016-02-25 Thread HC Haase
@ Mark S.
Thansk.. That proofed really helpful.

I think this really should be part of the standard tiddllywiki or a
plug-in. Of course I have the code now and wil save and use it my self, but
for non-coders/ new to TW like me, functionality like this deserve to be
included.
