That is desired behaviour, the empty edition is empty, it doesn't have any
plugins. If you want those plugins then you need to use the server edition
or add them in.

I don't see any problem with the settings, I will have to poke that later.

Also, when it created the empty wikis, the plugin part of the
tiddlywiki.info file was empty. I don't know if this was on purpose, but it
makes the datafolder incompatible with other node.js products.

That is, these plugins were missing:

"tiddlywiki/tiddlyweb",
"tiddlywiki/filesystem"

Thanks!

FYI

When I use the Bob interface to tell Bob to make an empty edition, it
doesn't use filePathRoot, wikiPathBase, or wikisPath as the copy target
directory. Instead it puts it in "Wikis" below the executable.

This is what the Shiraz demo looks like on my system:

There is no > arrow to the left of the titles.

Possibly you can do what you want using CSS. Experimentally, you can change
the detail CSS sheet to:

.tc-tiddler-title {
  counter-reset: section;
}
details > summary::before {
  counter-increment: section;
  content: counter(section);
}

/*details html5 macro*/
details > summary {
  padding: 2px 6px;
  background-color: #efebe9;
  font-weight:500;
  outline:none;
}
details > div {
  background-color: #fffef9;
  padding: 2px 6px;
  margin: 0;
}

There's lot's of people here that are much better at CSS than I am!

Thanks!

Re: [tw5] WebServer API: Put Tiddler: 403 Error

2019-04-19 Thread Jeremy Ruston
Hi vpl

There’s a very simple cross site scripting forgery prevention measure in TW5,
which is that by default all HTTP requests that modify data must include a
header "x-requested-with” that contains the string “TiddlyWiki”. There’s some
background on the measure here:

http://blog.alutam.com/2011/09/14/jersey-and-cross-site-request-forgery-csrf/

You can disable it by passing csrf-disable=yes as a parameter to the listen
command:

https://tiddlywiki.com/#WebServer%20Parameter%3A%20csrf-disable

Best wishes

Ok. I did not understand your set-up. I think you want:

<$list filter="[tag[123]search:text[456]]">

{{!!text}}

Remember that "456" has to be in your text somewhere for it to be listed.

The weird thing on my system, is that on my Windows 7 machine, with FF, is
that I don't see the little arrows to the left. I do see them if I use
chrome.

[tw5] WebServer API: Put Tiddler: 403 Error

2019-04-19 Thread vpl
Hi,

I try to use the PUT API on 5.1.19
I get a 403 when I query my local tiddlywiki on node js
The server is started as follow (no authentication with user/passwd)
  node node_modules\tiddlywiki\tiddlywiki.js backLogTest --listen
Serving on http://127.0.0.1:8080

When I query the PUT i've not added any specific HTTP header (Can't find
any info in the current 5.1.19 doc)
So I do a PUT 127.0.0.1:8080/recipes/default/tiddlers/testTodel
And get a 403 response

The GET works perfectly (GET
127.0.0.1:8080/recipes/default/tiddlers/expTemplate)

Any help ???

Regards

Vpl

replace the line

alert(client.responseText);

with these two lines:

var fields = {title: 'Look! A title!', text: client.responseText}
$tw.wiki.addTiddler(new $tw.Tiddler(fields))

you will have to open the tiddler called 'Look A title!' manually, but that
should put the text in that tiddler. I haven't tested this so there may be
bugs.

 Hi Jed thanks,
I think a timer will be part of the final solution. But at the moment I’m
still having trouble displaying the content in another way then in an alert
which I got to work here:
http://szenio.de/WebKnowHow/
Somehow “return” didn’t work.
So I am still struggling with the basics of getting the result of the JS
into TW in a usable way.
 Best wishes Jan

[tw5] Re: How do I can I display txt-file in TW

2019-04-19 Thread Jed Carty
You could set up a timer to fetch the text and put it into a tiddler
periodically so that you have it in a tiddler but it still updates.

An xmlhttprequest should let you do that.

Re: [tw5] Re: How do I can I display txt-file in TW

2019-04-19 Thread Jan Johannpeter
 Hej Birthe,
 Request is that I do not want to import the text permanently, because it
may still be changed on the server. One use of this is displaying texts
that are posted to the pin board by students and they shall still be able
to modify them...and There is other uses where I need to change the
external text file dynamically .

Best Wishes Jan

Ah, that's sheds some more light on it-- thank you. I mainly was looking
at the article TW com referred to but that seemed mainly about link
security not privacy.

Feel free to expand your Google/Wikipedia search lookups using the

with integrating TW with external web content- especially Google apps- I
will updating a previous guide I posted on this group about the subject.

[tw5] Re: Stylesheet

2019-04-19 Thread Vincent vd B
Many thanks Mark,
I almost started banging my head against the wall.
There still is a small problem..

This is the Tiddler with the tag 123:

[image: Tiddler-1.jpg]

[image: Tiddler-2.jpg]

And this is the tiddler with the code you gave me:

[image: Tiddler-3.jpg]

[image: Tiddler-4.jpg]

[image: Tiddler-5.jpg]

It shows the title of the tiddler in a bar that you can open.

After opening, the tiddler "TITLE" is loaded.

The code should immediately display the text.

And not the title of the page with the layout code.
