[tw5] Re: Help with action-listops please - add tiddler titles with space to field

Hello Tony,

I have a similar problem with the selectWidget: when trying to assign the
currentTiddler Title to a field it doesn't add delimiters. How did you end
up solving your problem?

A Gloom

Thanks so much for your contribution to the community.

Feedback

   - My first discovery on looking at the site is the tabs are white and I
   can't read the unselected tab titles (I'm using FF) and other fields in
   control panel
   - Your use of ?F0 ?F1 is initially a little confusing, does it help with
   screen readers? A little explanation may help.
   - I think your #Introduction should include an overview of the purpose
   of the whole wiki, and I would explicitly state any accessibility
   objectives.
   - Is there a reason why its still running on tiddlywiki version 5.1.17?
   - Is there a reason why you do not set the Sidebar layout

 to
   Fluid Story, Fixed sidebar? This makes more use of modern desktop screens

Love your work

Tony

[tw5] How to add simple code to TW

2019-08-16 Thread Auston Bevins
Hi there,

I have spent some hours trying to find a solution to my problem. As I do
not understand a lot of what TW is doing or where the main html is at, I
thought I might just ask my question here.

I would like to add the following simple code to my TW. From my
understanding, it will be able to scan any text on the page, and if it
matches certain text, will link it appropriately. Here is the website I am
grabbing it from RefTagger
. If someone could tell
me how to add this simple code to my whole TW, I would be incredibly
thankful.

Best!

It's kind of doing the opposite of these.

So maybe

Unstash

or

Unstasher

(It's unstashing from downloads back to the original dir.)

I agree that "restore" is ...

(1) on computers associated with recovery from failure;

(2) has resonances with diseases and general ennui--"he restored himself at
the goat farm"

HOWEVER, we need ONE word to replace it, not a sentence. And one that sums
up its meaning. "Restore" is accurate, so what is a good synonym for it?

The closest understandable alternative single word I can think of is "
*REINSTATE*". Would that be better for you?

Dear Gloom

I am not gloomy. Nice content.

The high contrast is good for purpose!

Larger or bolded white text plus orangey links is good for **declarative**
work ... for example ...

Design wise if you go that way it is a mistake to have borders of boxes in
white too.

Be leaner, I think.

I'm not sure. I want to explain some implications.

1 -- It is important to understand that Polly backups and zip-archives (by
design) are always *one step behind* their current wiki.
That means for the latest restored the only backup is the Downloads version.

2 -- It is possible (not documented yet) to run a second .ini file that

A possible solution might be a "maintenance" tool that tidies up when

Ciao Mohammad

Do you mean that *whilst creating setting* you could add multiple wiki
based on a full path with wildcards. If so, its possible.

IF you mean auto-detection at run-time of wiki within a directory
(including recursively through sub-folders) that would not be for the
[wikis] section. The wikis section should remain one wiki per line. But I
could add tools to automate their addition when first creating an .ini
file.

BUT Mark S. is looking into having a dynamic, run-time, way to add all
wikis (recursively) within a folder structure using a *wikidirs* approach.
This issue on GH: https://github.com/Marxsal/polly/issues/16 is a starting
on that theme.

[tw5] TiddlyDrive timing out on Android

2019-08-16 Thread Christian Macedo
This was all working up until a few days ago. And btw I absolutely loved
this solution. I'm not experiencing this issue anywhere else.

I'm using a Galaxy Tab A with Chrome 76.0.3809.111 with Android 9.

As I mentioned, up until a few days ago everything worked fine, and then
the issue appeared.

On attempting to load the tiddler via TiddlyDrive:

* The progress bar begins to... progress
* I can see and use the 'TiddlyDrive Settings' icon in the bottom right
hand corner
* Then the progress bar freezes and
* I'm presented with the message: "Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while
displaying this web oage. If you're seeing this frequently, try these
suggestions."

I'm not experiencing this either on my mobile device (although I did for a
day or so) and I'm not experiencing this on my laptop.

I've attempted:

* Clearing the cache
* Rebooting
* Reauthenticating TiddlyDrive.

Any other suggestions?

It aims to ...

(1) show what regex do & how;
(2) allows interactive testing against test data to improve one's regex;

[tw5] Re: first wiki is up-- Guide to general use of TW

2019-08-16 Thread Mohammad
Hi,
 Great stuff and many thanks for all your efforts!
I prefer the default TW theme! By the way

   1. Why have you used 5.1.17 and not 5.1.20?
   2. The tabs in http://twguidedoc.tiddlyspot.com/#%3FF0%20Guide are not
   readable except the selected one!

Good luck
Mohammad
