[tw5] Re: 20+ tiddlers overwritten by node with lazy loading

2022-04-19 Thread Khalfani Wadlington
It looks like it's related to this bug
https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/issues/4767

Is there any intention to fix this. If not can it be noted in the
documentation?

[tw5] 20+ tiddlers overwritten by node with lazy loading

2022-04-19 Thread Khalfani Wadlington
A bunch of files with the same tag appear overwritten. They won't load when
I select them and the contents (except meta data) is empty in the node
files.

All the files affected have the same tiddler tag. I set the tiddler to be a
system tiddler so it would autoload in the side bar.

Markdown files that are now empty have a meta file that says _is_skinny at
the top.
All the tiddler files that have been over written say _is_skinny: at the
top for example example:
_is_skinny:
created: 20220331194245560
creator: khalfani
modified: 20220419190910674
modifier: khalfani
tags: $:/Bookmark
title: Notes
type: text/vnd.tiddlywiki

Is it supposed to work like this or should I try to recover these using my
backup?

Also Is there another way to make a sidebar tiddler autoload without making
it a system tiddler?

Hi Alan,

I was trying to create a income expense manager using tiddlytables based on
the task manger demo you have shown. I was inspired by this budgetlywiki
.

Here is what I got after
todays experiments. Will you be able to clear some of my doubts if I ask
here.

I know that its a successful tool already. But i was thinking why there
is no news regarding the further development of such a great plug in for
the last 10 months. Probably the developer is busy in his life and
 wouldn't
have got time to allocate for further updates. I should thank Alan for
developing tiddlytables and for being an inspiration for similar pllug ins.

[tw5] Re: How to share permalink that does not show sidebar?

2022-04-19 Thread Télumire
Sorry for the triple post, I juste realised that in some case the tiddler
will not be wikified properly. To fix it, you need to edit
FullScreenTiddler/ViewTemplate (with the preview disabled otherwise the
preview will cover the whole screen) and add "mode=block" in the transclude
widget :

<$tiddler tiddler={{{ [{!!title}removeprefix[$:/temp/fullscreen/]] }}}>

<$transclude *mode="block"*/>

Alternatively, you can redownload the json file and repeat the
installation, I've updated the json file to correct the issue.

[tw5] Re: How to share permalink that does not show sidebar?

2022-04-19 Thread Télumire
Sorry I should have explain how to add this file into your wiki :

- download the json file
- open your tiddlywiki
- drag & drop the json file inside it (the message "drop now" should appear
at the top of the page). If you use tiddlywiki on mobile, you can use the
*import* button (under the *Tools* tab in the sidebar) and select the json
file. See https://tiddlywiki.com/#Importing%20Tiddlers if you need more
info. If you want you can prefix the imported tiddlers with "$:/" to hide
them from the standard search.
- a tiddler named "$:/Import" will open, listing several tiddlers starting
with FullScreen/..
- click on "import", save your wiki and you are done ! You should see a
link icon appear on each tiddler.

If you click it, you will copy a link to that tiddler to your clipboard.
This link will open the targeted tiddler in "fullscreen", you will only be
able to see the content of the tiddler and nothing else.

Note that *it is still possible to access the full wiki* by modifying the
url !
*Do not *use this if you want to keep part of your wiki private!

[tw5] Re: Cannot save with Chrome on C:\documents

2022-04-19 Thread 'Mark S.' via TiddlyWiki
There are 20+ saver solutions posted on TiddlyWiki.com. The question is,
how tightly is your system secured?

Can you run executable programs on USB (.exe) ?
Can you install executable programs (.exe) ?
Can you install extensions on your browser?
What websites are you allowed access to?

If you can install exe's and extensions, then the best solution is probably
Timimi. It makes saving work like it did on TH.

If you can run portable apps, then tiddlydesktop might be a choice to run
from USB.

If you can't do either of these, you might try the TW5-browser-nativesaver
 It will
display a confirmation dialog whenever the browser restarts, but the rest
of the time works transparently.

If you can access Github, then you could use the github saver.

Another possibility is to run node.js on your phone, and use your desktop
browser to access it. The problem is, everyone on your intranet could also
access sit.

2022-04-19 Thread 'C Bacca' via TiddlyWiki
Hi I have TW 5.2.2 I downloaded from Tiddlyhost. This TW was actually
created on Tiddlyhost, I don't know if that is a factor.

I'm using Chrome v100.0.4896.127 (it just upgraded today). I am storing the
TW in c:\documents\chuckdocs\. This is at work and IT has security pretty
tight so I don't know if that's an issue either. I don't know if my Windows
user is an admin on this machine at work.

But when I save the TW in Chrome I get the File Save As dialog. I'd like to
skip that dialog so when I hit the TW save button it just saves.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Thank you! You all are such great helpers!
