[tw] Recognizing other regular expressions as other type of links
Hi, Is there a way to recognize a specific regular expression as a specific different hyperlink? Specifically, my company has a bug tracking system with issue numbers like AA-123456 (two letter, a dash, and numbers) and I'd like to have anything matching that pattern automatically turn into a link like http://jira.mycompany.com/AA-123456. (I'm on version 2.7.0 although if I need to upgrade I can do so.) Thanks in advance, Marc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] previous versions
is there a repository of old versions of TiddlyWiki out there anywhere? [tw] Revision history for core TiddlyWiki
Hello, Is there are revision history published somewhere for the core TiddlyWiki itself? Specifically, I'm using TiddlyWiki 2.5.2, what's changed it I upgrade to the latest version from TiddlyWiki.com/upgrade (2.6.2)? [tw] Re: Uploadplugin error "can't get original file" in IE8
For anyone else who comes here - short answer is that I was using HTTP authentication, and UploadPlugin uses your password both for HTTP authentication and to pass to the script. Making the password the same worked - seems to be what TiddlySpot does. Although I'm not sure about the wisdom of taking the same cleartext password and putting it in even more places, which was why I'd had a password in my store.php file that was different from the HTTP authentication password. As far as it working on Firefox, my guess is that it's a different password caching implementation (perhaps Firefox tries the previously- saved password even if supplied with a different one). - Marc On Nov 10, 11:24 am, Marc Stober wrote: > Hi, > > I'm using the UploadPlugin and getting an error, "can't get original > file" why I try to save. [tw] Re: Accessing a TiddlyWiki on a Network Drive
Short answer, no. But, there are adaptations of TiddlyWiki that allow this, such as the UploadPlugin, which I use, although it requires some setup. See here: http://tiddlywiki.com/#ServerSide I think there is also a WebDav plugin which is possibly the closest thing to actually saving over HTTP, but I can't remember where I saw it. [tw] Uploadplugin error "can't get original file" in IE8
Hi, I'm using the UploadPlugin and getting an error, "can't get original file" why I try to save. This only occurs in Internet Explorer 8 - the exact same file and settings in Firefox is successful. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks in advance, Marc --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] Re: AutoSave, UploadPlugin and UploadTidderPlugin
I looked at TiddlySpot, but didn't sign up there as I am trying to set this up on my own server. Is there a way I missed to see a sample of a TiddlySpot-enabled wiki without signing up? (Or maybe I should just sign up for a free account to try it out.) - Marc On Jul 23, 6:07 pm, Anthony Muscio wrote: > I presume you have looked at tiddlyspot.com and the methods it employs ? > > Regards Tony > > TonyM > > If you have not found an easy way to do it with TiddlyWiki, you have missed > something.www.tiddlywiki.com > > On Thu, Jul 23, 2009 at 23:01, Marc Stober wrote: > > > Hi - > > > I've been using TiddlyWiki and saving to a mapped network drive at > > work. [tw] AutoSave, UploadPlugin and UploadTidderPlugin
Hi - I've been using TiddlyWiki and saving to a mapped network drive at work. Now I'd like to use it for some personal project and have set up the UploadPlugin with a web server I have access to, and it works, but it doesn't work the same way it does at work. What I'd like is a version of the UploadPlugin that overrides the regular Save button, including AutoSave and prompting me to save changes when I close the window. Basically, I want the http version to work the same as TiddlyWiki on a local drive. Should I be using the UploadTiddlerPlugin instead for that? Is anyone else doing anything like that successfully? [tw] Re: this.getDriver() error in IE 8
To anyone searching for this in the future - just had the same issue with IE6 (maybe a Windows update, not really sure why) and the setting that worked the magic was: "initialize and script ActiveX control not marked as safe" I set it to "prompt" - I guess I could set it to "enable" and skip the prompt but I like the idea of web pages not saving files locally unless I know about it, and of course it's expect for TiddlyWiki. [tw] Re: this.getDriver() error in IE 8
It did work from my local drive. I was able to get it working again by fiddling with the security settings in Internet Explorer. The path was already in my Trusted Sites zone, and I changed the settings for that zone so that most of the Active-X related items were set to Enable or Prompt. IE8 must have added some new restriction by default. However, I think there is also an issue in TiddlyWiki, at least in error handling. I tried opening an old backup of my TiddlyWiki in IE 8, and I just got the "It's not possible to save changes" message box. Whereas in 2.5.2, it takes me into the IE 8 script debugger. Stepping into the debugger it looks like there was an exception being raised in the isAvailable() method that tries to create a Scripting.FileSystemObject, so that getDriver() returns null. (Silver lining: Got to try out the new IE 8 script debugger. :-) Thanks for a great product! - Marc On Jul 2, 7:15 am, FND wrote: > >> Error: 'this.getDriver()' is null or not an object > >> I'm also saving to a mapped drive (e.g., H:\foo\bar.html). > > I can't test this right now (at a conference), but have you tried saving > to a regular drive (on your local HDD)? > > Shared network drives sometimes cause issues: > """ > IIRC, some people have reported weird issues with this on Windows. [tw] this.getDriver() error in IE 8
Hi all, Just upgraded my TiddlyWiki to version 2.5.2. Everything worked fine on my office computer running IE6. However, from my laptop which I recently upgraded to IE 8, I can view my TiddlyWiki but get this error when I try to save changes: Error: 'this.getDriver()' is null or not an object I'm also saving to a mapped drive (e.g., H:\foo\bar.html). Any help appreciated. - Marc --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
