That's not quite what I am looking for. I want the tiddler I have open for 
reading to have the search phrase highlighted. If I could do CMD F as on 
the desktop Firefox, that would show me what I wanted

[tw] TW5 search inside tiddler with twedit

Within Twedit how does one search for a word within a tiddler. The standard 
search spot finds the tiddler but does not highlight the word within the 
tiddler. Not speaking of searching within a tiddler that is in edit mode.

You make some good points, so I’ll try to be specific on my needs.
I think that social calc shows some good promise, However I can’t  (easily) 
understand what information is available.
What I hope to see is a step by step or detailed guide to using rather than 
programing social calc.

it. The github docs are too arcane for me to understand.

drop but can't view anything useable in the zip using Firefox.

Ohhh that looks real fine.  I do like to mess with programs but I'm not
smart enough to be a programmer. HTML and Tiddlywiki satisfy my urges
nicely.  I was messing around with the 5.1.5 example and was starting to
get it but not quite. Tobias, your site looks like one to bookmark!

[tw] TW5 Chrome always saves to download directory

After downloading tw5  into my download directory, I make a copy and put it 
in a test directory. I load the tw5 from the test directory with chrome. 
After adding a tiddler and saving,the saved file always ends up in download 
directory. What do I do to make it save in the directory I loaded it from?

I figured it out myself.
NoteStorm 2 has the option of showing or hiding the indexes (left column).
The default behavior can be set in zzConfigOptions

Using  Firefox 14.0.1 on a Macintosh OS 10.6
get an error:
Error retrieving tiddlers from url, please ensure this url exists and is 
CORS  enabled
when attempt to import a 2.6 tiddly file that is in the same directory as 
2.7 with 2.7's jar

The new 2.7 tiddly seems to work ok as far as making a new tiddler, new 
journal and saving with backup.

Notestorm2 is the only tiddlywiki that I can get to import reliably. I 
think it's pretty slick even if I'm having trouble grasping the concept of 
the index and notes under it.  It's my limitation, there surely is plenty 
of tutorial  information available.

My du3 doesn't remember to save backups.
I check save backups in options.
Save and it shows saved with backup
When I load it again using a fresh browser window, the save backup option 
isn't checked.
