Certainly there's tobibeers Preview plug-in, which shows linked-toddler preview on hover.
I don't happen to know of any plugin that creates a slider within which linked tiddlers are transcluded. (There's perhaps some awkwardsness for this option because of inline vs block rendering -- how should a slider work when link is mid-paragraph?)
