I have quite a bit of confidence in the guy. He's the guy with the glassblowing shop that makes the nixie tubes. Years ago, I wrote an "enigma machine" in Atmel AVR code, just for fun. I'd love to see the relevant details from the Bombe and write up a version in the AVR.
