Hi,

I can offer you hosting at server for HamQTH.com. Disk space and
Internet connection is not a problem. You could install wiki on it
and do whatever you need. Also disk space is not a problem. I have
1.5TB free.
It's running on Ubuntu 12.04 and MySQL database.

If I read it right you can always embed external images but needs write
access to the wikis underlying git repo to add new ones directly in the
page. But I am not sure about that.

I'm stil getting the old page.

I think there _isn't_ new page. If you want to help to
contribute, have any idea to update this page, just notice us.

Yep, it is not new, but on the new place where a index.html would be
 automatically found.

Here is the source of that page:

 https://github.com/Tlf/tlf.github.com/blob/master/index.html

If you have github account, you can clone that repository, and
can made any modification. Let's start it! ;)

Please do not edit the HTML file. That is much to much work. Better add
your changes to the index.asciidoc file. It is nearly plain text and
 easy to edit.

[Tlf-devel] XTLF and Fedora Core 5

2006-07-29 Thread Petr Hlozek
Hi,

I'd like to use XTLF on my Fedora Core 5. But I have still problem with perl.
I get this error:

In cpan I wrote install Glib ExtUtils::Depends ExtUtils::PkgConfig
All was OK. After installion iI have to rerun 'perl Makefile.PL'. But how?
Where?
Without these modules I can't install modules for GTK2 etc.

I don't thing that Perl is good way for developing XTLF. I can install old
good tlf without problems. I can't say this about XTLF :-(.

I hope, developing very good old tlf didn't stop.

This is from a similar problem that was discussed in a June thread on
the tlf mailing list. The suggestions follow:
 install libgtk2-perl
 Gtk2 package including:
 libgtk2.0-0
 libgtk2-perl
 libgtk2-gladexml-perl
 libglade2-0
 libglade-perl
 and maybe their -dev variants

Dear Ed,

yes, it is nice. But this is for Ubuntu. I'm using Fedora Core 5. I can't find
packages for FC5.
The true is, there are people that don't use Ubuntu or another Debian clone.
How to for rpm distros like Fedora, Madriva etc. helps very much! I don't
have time study difrencies between Ubuntu and Fedora and convert deb packages
to rpm. I spend with xtlf a few days. But without succes. Every time.
I don't know Perl but, is possible to create one binary file? This problem
with missing modules and files is horrible!

 Petr,

A binary package wouldn't help you much in this situation, since you
would still need to install the Perl bindings for Gtk+ (and others) for
 your distibution.

 I saw something called

 perl-Gtk2-1.121-1.fc5.i386.rpm
 perl-Gtk2-GladeXML-1.005-4.fc5.i386.rpm

in the fedora 5 extras repository.
Hello Alex,

it helps, thanks. I have not perl-Gtk2-GladeXML-1.005-4.fc5.i386.rpm
installed.
Now, I can run XTLF. Radio control doesn't work. I have set right device,
speed and rig model (it's working with old tlf).
When I turn rig control on, xtlf still writes to console:
Argument \x{39}\x{2c}... isn't numeric in numeric ne (!=)
at /usr/share/xtlf/xtlf.pl line 1703
and TRX control doesn't work.

How can I load rules? If I try Contest-Load rules and choose iota.pm nothing
happend. I have still cqww rules.

Thanks!
