Re: [Tlf-devel] Wiki
Hi, I can offer you hosting at server for HamQTH.com. Disk space and Internet connection is not a problem. You could install wiki on it and do whatever you need. Also disk space is not a problem. I have 1.5TB free. It's running on Ubuntu 12.04 and MySQL database. 73 Petr, OK2CQR 2015-01-17 21:01 GMT+01:00 Thomas Beierlein t...@forth-ev.de: Am 17.01.2015 20:26, schrieb Fred Siegmund: Is there a easy way to add pictures to the TLF wiki at github? But I am not sure about that. 73, Tom 73 Fred Am 11.01.2015 um 15:31 schrieb Thomas Beierlein: Am Sun, 11 Jan 2015 15:02:35 +0100 schrieb Ervin Hegedüs airw...@gmail.com: Hi Ed, On Sun, Jan 11, 2015 at 08:46:36AM -0500, Ed wrote: On 01/11/2015 02:35 AM, Thomas Beierlein wrote: Hi all, as discussed some days ago we have now the new Tlf intro page at http://tlf.github.io (can be found also under http://tlf.github.com). [Tlf-devel] XTLF and Fedora Core 5
Hi, I'd like to use XTLF on my Fedora Core 5. But I have still problem with perl. I get this error: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ xtlf Can't locate Gtk2.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.4/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.7/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.7 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8 .) at /usr/share/xtlf/xtlf.pl line 27. After installion iI have to rerun 'perl Makefile.PL'. But how? Where? Without these modules I can't install modules for GTK2 etc. I don't thing that Perl is good way for developing XTLF. I can install old good tlf without problems. I can't say this about XTLF :-(. I hope, developing very good old tlf didn't stop. 73! de Petr, OK2CQR -- Fedora Core 5, KDE 3.5.1 web : www.ok2cqr.com mail : ok2cqr at ok2cqr dot com; petr_hl at mrp dot cz ICQ : 165536992 AOL : PetrHH Skype : PetrHH ___ Tlf-devel mailing list Tlf-devel@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/tlf-devel

Dne sobota 29 červenec 2006 12:37 jste napsal(a): This is from a similar problem that was discussed in a June thread on the tlf mailing list. The suggestions follow: install libgtk2-perl Gtk2 package including: libgtk2.0-0 libgtk2-perl libgtk2-gladexml-perl libglade2-0 libglade-perl and maybe their -dev variants Dear Ed, yes, it is nice. But this is for Ubuntu. I'm using Fedora Core 5. I can't find packages for FC5. The true is, there are people that don't use Ubuntu or another Debian clone. How to for rpm distros like Fedora, Madriva etc. helps very much! I don't have time study difrencies between Ubuntu and Fedora and convert deb packages to rpm. I spend with xtlf a few days. But without succes. Every time. I don't know Perl but, is possible to create one binary file? This problem with missing modules and files is horrible! 73! de Petr, OK2CQR -- Fedora Core 5, KDE 3.5.1 web : www.ok2cqr.com mail : ok2cqr at ok2cqr dot com; petr_hl at mrp dot cz ICQ : 165536992 AOL : PetrHH Skype : PetrHH ___ Tlf-devel mailing list Tlf-devel@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/tlf-devel

Petr, A binary package wouldn't help you much in this situation, since you would still need to install the Perl bindings for Gtk+ (and others) for your distibution. I saw something called perl-Gtk2-1.121-1.fc5.i386.rpm perl-Gtk2-GladeXML-1.005-4.fc5.i386.rpm in the fedora 5 extras repository. Hello Alex, it helps, thanks. I have not perl-Gtk2-GladeXML-1.005-4.fc5.i386.rpm installed. Now, I can run XTLF. Radio control doesn't work. I have set right device, speed and rig model (it's working with old tlf). When I turn rig control on, xtlf still writes to console: Argument \x{39}\x{2c}... isn't numeric in numeric ne (!=) at /usr/share/xtlf/xtlf.pl line 1703 and TRX control doesn't work. How can I load rules? If I try Contest-Load rules and choose iota.pm nothing happend. I have still cqww rules.
