As mentioned in the changelogs of Tomcat version 5.0.10 MX4J 1.1.1 is being replaced by JMX 1.2 RI Please refer to page http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-5.0-doc/changelog.html for details. Has any one tried out to get the MBeans in this new implementation ? I am trying to get the MBeanServer and access the MBeans exposed by Tomcat.
