That's what I thought, but it still only deplot the app to /bar. I'm using tomcat 4.1.24 so not sure if that version is too old? Yes, unless I'm mistaken, the inclusion of context elements in the .war file is a Tomcat 5+ feature. There is no way to upload .war files before this if you are going to serve from the .war file.
