A neighbor was perusing some old books her father had saved - he was an electrical engineer - and found a 1922 edition of Construction of radio phone and telegraph receivers for beginners authored by M. B. Sleeper.
Started perusing it last night...what a hoot! All about designing rcvrs for the 200 meter band.
