Re: Topband: W3LPL station
I live about 50 miles northeast of Frank's QTH.My family was away for a few days and I was coming home just after lunch to take care of the critters, and I saw those thunder cells SW of me as I drove home.I remember thinking man those things look really ugly -- very, very dark clouds. I'm glad Frank and family are OK. Antennas can be replaced; people can't. 73 Mark K3MSB On Thu, Jun 23, 2016 at 4:30 PM, Art Snapper wrote: > I am sad to pass along a report that Frank's station took a hit from an EF0 > tornado. Re: Topband: W3LPL station
Oh yeah, way worse. Look at his property from Google Earth and see how the tornado threaded a needle to only take down the one tower and that line of trees. Didn't hit his house. Only took down one tower. Nobody was hurt. Oh yeah, could have been way worse. 73, G.
