[tbc-users] Re: Maps API

2009-03-29 Thread Pavel Gocev

Thank you Jeremy,

anyway I will try to install the newest beta version and as it is not
burning (time releated) by me I could wait.

All the best and thanks,
Pavel

 Thank you for reporting this.

We omitted full regression testing of TBC-SE in the beta; our test effort was
 more focused on new features.
We will shortly engage in regression testing for the final 3.0 release and we
will ensure that this item is covered.
We have scheduled approximately twice as much testing for the final release
 than for the betas.

I am hoping Scott will be able to suggest a workaround until the final
release shortly, if not, I am afraid this sort of mistake happens in betas :(

 Apologies

 Jeremy

   Pavel,

could you clarify which version of TBC you are using? Is this 3.0
  beta
   2 SE?

   Thanks

Hi,

I obtained Google API Key and after the computer restart I still
  can
not see the google map in TBC. Instead of the map I get:

HTTP ERROR: 404
ProxyServlet: /tbc_geo/gMap.jsp
RequestURI=/tbc_geo/gMap.jsp

Powered by Jetty://

Should I do something more?

[tbc-users] Re: SPIN Box: Time and Images

2009-03-29 Thread Holger Knublauch

Hi Pavel,

SPIN Box is more or less a demo facility to show the kind of things
that would be possible with SPIN, and to serve as a sand box for
experiments. I believe it's easy to see how SPIN Box could be extended
into something more useful than a computer game engine, for example to
drive simulations.

Yes, doing things like time dependency would be easy to add, and in
fact you can already do this to a limited extent. For example, use the
SPARQL built-in function afn:now to access the current time. But the
main loop of SPIN Box is simply a complete iteration over all fields
that restarts from the beginning continuously.

I will send you the boulders game file off the list - I don't want to
be sued by some copyright holders of the original game, so it's not
part of the standard distribution. This will show you how to access
the standard images of the game. You can use any other image from the
Web using the ... notation. It should be 16x16 pixels.

Holger

 Hallo Holger,

have you make trials to add Time to the SPIN Box. My idea is to
control activites in dependance of the time. I want to specify and see
the duration of each activity/action and according to this to control
 the whole workflow.

Where can i see the Images in order to specify new ones or to change
 the exisitng?

 Pavel
