 Oh, but there actually was a separate bug: #24875. That one was about
 meek-client never terminating in the case when it received a signal but
 had zero handlers running. That's been fixed, but the fix hasn't yet
 appeared in a release.

 I tried it on 8.0a9. I didn't get the "already running" errors mentioned
 in the ticket description (may be #12774?). What I got instead was a big
 empty browser window and a progress bar stuck at 0%. I opened the
 JavaScript console in the browser window with Ctrl+Shift+J and got this:

 It looks like the two errors are around `nsIXPCComponents_Utils.import`
 and `nsIWebNavigation.loadURIWithOptions`. The error about `-invisible`
 seems to be from a changed command-line interface (meek-client-torbrowser
 passes `-invisible` to firefox).

 Somehow I seem to remember someone telling me that one of the imports had
 changed in ESR60. But now I can't find any record of it. Anyway, I think
 it was about needing to change the current

 }}}
 to
 {{{
 Components.utils.import("resource://gre/modules/Console.jsm");
 }}}
 as is now documented at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-

 So, I think this is actually intentional behavior, though now that I look
 at it, it's conforming to an older version of pt-spec.txt and doing
 something that's no longer required.

 This is what the spec said from 2012 to 2014.

 Keeping track of open connections was the whole purpose of `handlerChan`
 and the loop at the end of `main` that waits until all handlers are done.

 But the require to keep existing connections open

 spec.txt?id=4dcd7e94f17c072e771119ec90d7cbce4a4788a4 was removed] in 2014.
 This is what the current version says:

 Now it only says that we have to do a graceful shutdown, which to me
 doesn't imply that we have to keep existing connections open. So we could
 just shut everything down, which seems to be what the ticket reporter
 expected anyway.

 The way I would recommend to do this would be to remove all the code
 having to do with `handlerChan`. When `main` returns, it will terminate
 the goroutine running `roundTripRetries`, I think. cypherpunks, do you
 want to test that? Otherwise, I don't think the current behavior is
 causing much of a problem, so I'll mark it as a low priority.

 * removed a redundant header,
 * added a missing cast on Windows, and
 * fixed some code that was in the wrong place.

 If you're happy with the code, please:
 * run it against a test bandwidth file, and check the vote contents

 where some code reads one version of the file, and other code reads
 another version.

 This works around a hang in the client that occurred once it had logged a
 certain amount of information to its stderr. Now, if not logging to a
 file, snowflake-client will log nothing rather than writing to stderr. The
 corresponding tor bug is #26360.

 I completed #26702 and I am about to complete #26694.

 While I was writing these tickets, I realised that we only need to avoid
 the following periods:
 * HH:45-HH:55, because the bandwidth file is read at HH:50
 * HH:15-HH:25, because the bandwidth file is read at HH:20 during a
 consensus failure

 I also suggest that add these times to the `sbws generate` documentation.

 The appropriate place for this documentation is in the man page, under the
 V3BandwidthsFile option. It's the place that authority operators are most
 likely to look when configuring a bandwidth authority.

 bridge publishes its extrainfo descriptor to the bridge authority, which

 there it works its way to onionoo and to relay-search.

 I'm not sure what's wrong. I checked and there were not any configuration
 changes on the bridge in June. It's missing from Onionoo too:

 In May 2017, we had the same problem of the Snowflake bridge not
 publishing statistics. Then, we worked around it by setting
 `AssumeReachable 1`. Two other default bridges, cymrubridge31 and
 cymrubridge33, were not—and still are not :(—publishing statistics, and no
 one was ever able to determine the cause. Maybe we are being affected by
 the same thing again.

 * `getEntries`, `getEntriesByType` and `getEntriesByName` all return empty
 lists.
 * `mark` and `measure` do nothing.

 We should still check if `setResourceTimingBufferSize(unsigned long
 maxSize)` and `performance.onresourcetimingbufferfull` expose a
 fingerprinting vector or supercookie mechanism.
