 I will note that this ticket is in a component that is easy to lose track
 of, and isn't owned by anybody or any group. So if somebody wants it to be
 on anybody's plate, they should pick a component where it is. :)

 I think we were thinking of a webpage.

 It also might be a good idea to be able to restrict this if we need to, so
 it can handle trolls saying "/me status: in ur base killin ur doodz" over
 and over.

Comment:

 The browser team is also thinking about using `/me status:`, so in the
 long run a bot might be useful for many Tor people. Side note: a browser
 person is supposed to check with the Network Team before we start using
 this convention; we do not want to disrupt the Network Team's workflow.

 In the network team, we've started using IRC messages of the form `/me
 status: opening a bunch of tickets` to keep trac of what we're doing day
 to day.  It would be cool to have something to keep track of them for us.

 It would be best if this were done on an opt-in basis: nobody should have
 their IRC logged without their consent.

 It might be nice to have some feature to remind you to do this if you
 haven't done so on a regular day, but that could easily become obnoxious.
