This is for new users, who leak their location in their source IP address and their platform in the User- Agent header (and some corresponding variable accessible to JavaScript). In any case, same comment, couldn't we just add a 32-bit/64-bit option to the download for linux users? #4231 needs to be fixed anyway, in case the autodetection recommends the wrong bundle. same situation with windows users too. No. 32-bit TBB for Windows packages work on 64-bit Windows, so we don't need to ship a 64-bit TBB for Windows (and we don't ship one). -- Ticket URL: https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/4232#comment:3 Tor Bug Tracker Wiki https://trac.torproject.org/ The Tor Project: anonymity online ___ tor-bugs mailing list tor-bugs@lists.torproject.org https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tor-bugs

(This user has a 64-bit Linux distribution, and needs a matching 64-bit TBB.
