I intend on doing so when I hear back about their DMCA forwarding option, as I think that'll decide whether they're friendly or not. p Greg: > Patrick, > Do you mind adding this info to the "good/bad isps" wiki? [tor-relays] Experience hosting exit relay with Costa Rica Servers: crservers.com
hey all, I'm looking to host an exit relay in a country with a low node count. I came across crservers.com[0] via exotic VPS, and am considering using them to host a small exit node to start out. A quick glance at their ToS for VPS services[1] indidicates that their policies are pretty strict, but figured it'd be worth asking the list to see if anyone had personal experience with them before I rule them out. I've also contacted them about this. cheers, p [0] - https://crservers.com [1] - https://www.crservers.com/downloads/SHARED-SERVER-CONTRACT.pdf signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ tor-relays mailing list tor-relays@lists.torproject.org https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tor-relays
Re: [tor-relays] BoingBoing: What happened when we got subpoenaed over our Tor exit node
noisetor received an identical subpoena, for what looks to be the same grand jury appearance in NJ (same date location IIRC). Unlike the commenter, noisetor keeps zero logs, so we had nothing to provide. We did the same as BoingBoing, got our legal counsel and then contacted the FBI to explain the situation. At this point the requirement to testify was dropped. p On 8/7/15 2:29 PM, starlight.201...@binnacle.cx wrote: http://boingboing.net/2015/08/04/what-happened-when-the-fbi-sub.html check out comment #2 as well as the blog article ___ tor-relays mailing list tor-relays@lists.torproject.org https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tor-relays signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ tor-relays mailing list tor-relays@lists.torproject.org https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tor-relays
