250mbs apparently is the restriction. Not awful, is this correct? Am going
to ask their tech support these questions.

2020-05-11 Thread gerard
I though there are too many exits with OVH. I run an OVH exit…. But no high
risk ports like 22,limited port 80 but 443 and most others open. I am getting
no complaints or comment from OVH. I avoided asking them direct!

$6 good value but wonder if memory low or bandwidth restriction

Subject: [tor-relays] Does OVH cloud support exit relays?

Hello,

So I have been running a bridge relay for over a year now, and recently
purchased the $6 per month VPS from
https://ca.ovhcom/manager/dedicated/#/configuration

I am waiting for the “please wait up to 48 hours to activate your account” and
am planning to set up a new tor relay on the vps once it is running. I am
wondering, does anybody on the list know if they allow exit relays? Do they
charge based on how much traffic tor will generate, or is it a solid $6 per
month for their Linux VPS?

Thanks very much all

.

2020-05-11 Thread Totor be
Hi,

A few years ago, OVH explicitly disallowed exits
Note that, by then, regular relays were also not authorized on VPS
This is why I'm running relays inVMs on a physical server with no issue
(from OVH) since years

Having said that, I must admit I have not recently checked if their policy
have changed

That is something best answered by OVH pre-sales.
