Re: Replace the overlay icons with a "Status" column like OneDrive

2019-09-11 Thread Stefan via TortoiseSVN
you can only do that for one specific folder (and its subfolders) using a
namespace handler. Doesn't work for multiple folders, and especially not
for any folder in explorer but only customized root folders in explorer.
So no chance of doing that with TSVN.

Replace the overlay icons with a "Status" column like OneDrive

2019-09-11 Thread bludev via TortoiseSVN
The system limit of 15 overlay icons has been widely debated but it seems
that Microsoft has no intention of solving it.
With the integration of OneDrive in File Manager, Microsoft has solved the
problem by using a "State" custom column that shows an icon that changes
depending on the synchronization status.
I don't know if this solution is limited to Windows 10 (I have no way of
trying in previous versions) but I think it might be a good idea to
implement in TortoiseSVN as well.

What do you think?

"select some file from commits" - and then what? Just selecting does not
open any other apps or do anything.

Re: Specify command-line options for svnserve when using svn+ssh:// ?

2019-09-11 Thread Stefan via TortoiseSVN
You can specify any options in the settings dialog, network page under "SSH
client": you can there specify the ssh client to use and also add any
command line options you like.
