Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Amason Music App
Hi, I am refreshing this thread now because I have seen some Hardware products that support Amazon Music along with Spotify, etc. Did Amazon changed its policy concerning open API ? Another possibility is to buy WiFi extender and to connect SB with ethernet cable to this extender. Extender can be close to SB but it has to be in a range of WiFi of your router. That is actually what has been done with Apple Express in one of the previous posts ... Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Touch cannot wirelessly connect to LMS server after replacing old router
I have the same problem with my two SB Touches. I "solved" the problem by connecting them with LAN cable to the router. I could not get them connected wirelessly. The problem appeared when I replaced my old router with the new Netgear Orbi. [SlimDevices: Touch] Reading ISO files
Hi, I have quite number of albums in DSD format packed in ISO files. I know how to unpack them into dsf or dff files but I wonder if there is going to be support for reading ISO files directly ? Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Dsd
When I reduced the quality of DSD stream I have got the sound but with lot of interrupts due to buffering. So it seems that the main issue is wireless connection. When I look into the strength of the WiFi signal at the Squeezebox Touch it shows me: 100% ! Does it mean that DSD reproduction is not possible if SB Touch uses WiFi ? [SlimDevices: Touch] Dsd
Hi, I am running LMS 7.9.2 under MAC OS Mavericks on Mac Mini. I have Squeezebox Touch with installed software version 7.8.0. I installed DSD Player plug-in (latest version is 1.0.1) and I also configured it to use DSD over PCM. In the advanced-> File Type I enabled DSD playback for dsf and dff files. Squeezebox Touch is connected to the DSD capable DAC (Pioneer U-05) with coax digital cable. On the squeezebox Touch I have installed EDO. Still I do not get anything but hum (with lot of rebuffering). Does anybody have any idea what might be the problem here ? Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Announce: Enhanced Digital Output app - USB Dac and 192k Digital Ouput
Does anybody has any idea why my SB Touch with installed EDO does play 24-192 and 24-96 but doesn't really play 24-88,2 ? The sound is interrupted all the time in that case. My DAC, Bladelius Embla shows in that case 44,1 although the fiels are 88,2. I am running LMS 7.8.0.on MAC mini. The connection between my Touch and DAC is coax SPDIF. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] DACMagic and Touch
My guess is that will be a considerable improvement. I didn#t check it though ... DACMagic is a decent DAC and a toy dac implemented usually within SB's shouldn't be able to match DACMagics performance ... But check it first ... -- DejanM DejanM's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19066 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72407 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
