A relatively safe alternative is to go to a reputable electronics supply store, e.g. Maplin in the UK, and buy one of their PSUs that come with a set of interchangeable heads. (Maplin often have them on offer). Of course, it has to be the correct voltage, and able to supply at least the same (or more) current as the original (5V DC, 3A for Touch). Hi I have 2 Touch and one the power adapter died. I orders one from eBay from the UK and the seller claims adapter fits the touch .
