Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] SSH via cyberduck help

2012-08-21 Thread mhardyman

Thanks, it does seem to be a Cyberduck issue. I have now successfully
managed to ssh via scp using an android phone application (andftp).

Thanks for your help.

Many thanks, tried the SCP but no joy. I think a different ssh approach
is the solution.

Then either Cyberduck is at fault or your configuration. If you get in
via ssh then you have clearly enabled the Touch's remote login feature.
And the Touch definitely supports scp. For scp I use WinSCP and it
throws 1-2 error messages up at login, but if I just click OK on the
annoying error messages then I get in.

So if you can get along with the command line, I would use ssh to start
a terminal session and then use the scp command from there. But if
you're doing something that needs scp with a gui, try something other
than Cyberduck.

I'm not familiar with Cyberduck, but as far as I know the Touch does not
support SFTP. It does support ssh and scp protocols. So if Cyberduck has
scp support, try that. Or go into the Touch via terminal and ssh, and
then use the scp command.
