Bug description:
  * Impact

  The gnome-online-accounts sometime crash after resuming from suspend

  * Test case

  Install the librest update, restart your system and verify that
  configured online accounts keep working. Taking a Google account
  example, calendar events should show in gnome-calendar and the top
  panel widget, evolution should list your email account and nautilus
  should be able to browse your gdrive folder.

  We should also confirm that error reports stop with the library update

  * Regression potential

  The patch makes the code better handle an empty payload. The librest
  rdepends in the archive are gnome-initial-setup/gnome-online-
  accounts/gnome-maps so we should verify that those keep working as
  expected.

2023-03-11 Thread Daniel R. Widders
Public bug reported:

Main issue is that HDMI sound does not work or load at all, it is not
even an option in the 'Sound Settings' in GUI when it was working fine
before.

This started around March 3-4, 2023 per my syslog.
Also on boot, 'hdaudio' fails and says no codecs found.

And also I tried using Bluetooth devices but instead of connecting to
Bluetooth they started a connect/disconnect loop which meant as far as I
could tell Bluetooth was trying to connect but not succeeding when it
had before.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 2008123] Re: Please merge 7.88.1-1 into lunar

2023-03-11 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
This bug was fixed in the package curl - 7.88.1-1ubuntu1

---
curl (7.88.1-1ubuntu1) lunar; urgency=medium

  * Merge from Debian unstable (LP: #2008123). Remaining changes:
+ Drop patches for CVEs fixed upsteam.
  - debian/patches/CVE-2023-23914_5-1.patch
  - debian/patches/CVE-2023-23914_5-2.patch
  - debian/patches/CVE-2023-23914_5-3.patch
  - debian/patches/CVE-2023-23914_5-4.patch
  - debian/patches/CVE-2023-23914_5-5.patch
  - debian/patches/CVE-2023-23916.patch
+ Don't build-depend on python3-impacket on i386 so we can drop it
  (and its dependencies) from the i386 partial port. It's only used for
  the tests, which do not block the build in any case.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1990200] Re: goa-daemon crashed with SIGABRT

2023-03-11 Thread Paul Eichler
I have seen the same bug pretty consistently. After upgrading
(https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/librest/0.9.1-2ubuntu1) it seems to be
gone.
I will report if it shows up again

Status in librest package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  * Impact

  The gnome-online-accounts sometime crash after resuming from suspend

  * Test case

  * Regression potential

  The patch makes the code better handle an empty payload. The librest
  rdepends in the archive are gnome-initial-setup/gnome-online-
  accounts/gnome-maps so we should verify that those keep working as
  expected.
