[Touch-packages] [Bug 1760910] Re: Gdebi crash in Ubuntu Studio 18.04

2018-04-08 Thread Phelps Scofield
Yes, I was able to install the deb package by running the gdebi-gtk
package in terminal mode using sudo. But it would not be a good
procedure for a beginner, since gdebi was made for this, install deb
packages and dependencies in graphical mode.

2018-04-08 Thread Phelps Scofield
What is happening is that I can run or run gdebi normally through the
terminal or right-click and install the deb package with gdebi and it
runs gdebi normally, but when I click install package gdebi closes. It is
a bug other than bug 1756238. .

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1761998] Re: The wi-fi internet connects but after 10 minutes it drops.

2018-04-07 Thread Phelps Scofield
I solved my connection problem as follows:
I edited the existing connection and changed the IPV4 settings to Automatic
Address Only (DHCP), and then changed the DNS servers to 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4 and
solved the problem.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1756238] Re: gdebi-gtk broken in 18.04 error: unable to read filedescriptor flags

2018-03-23 Thread Phelps Scofield
In my Ubuntu 18.04 Beta 1 the gdebi program does not install any deb
packages, but when I click install package it crashes and closes. I am
installing through dpkg on the terminal.
