[Touch-packages] [Bug 1457357] Re: Don't hard code the date format of event card
I can confirm this happening -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to gallery-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1457357 Title: Don't hard code the date format of event card Status in gallery-app package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Hard-coding the date format to "MMM " causes problems when the month name is too long, see screenshot. Note MMM should be abbreviated, but at least for Finnish it's not and it's even conjugated making it even longer. So it's probably also a Qt (translation) bug but flexibility here would help. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1422689] Re: Cached (?) lock screen messages not translated
Can confirm -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1422689 Title: Cached (?) lock screen messages not translated Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: This has been seen by me and also confirmed by a Bq owner. Switching languages, at least string "No photos taken today" is kept shown in English possibly for days after the language switch. Only when eg. a photo is taken, and then the next day a photo isn't taken, the "No photos taken today" is shown as translated. I'm assuming some sort of passing of the string is done and the _("") is not called again appropriately but the string instead is kept as is stored somewhere.
