[Touch-packages] [Bug 1109029] Re: Depend on linux-initramfs-tools
The reason it conflicts is because it seemingly used to ship /usr/sbin /update-initramfs, See: https://bugs.debian.org/729809. Other than this alt dep, it looks like parts of plymouth would need to be merged, and dracut patched for plymouth not being in /usr. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #729809 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=729809 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to kbd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1109029 Title: Depend on linux-initramfs-tools Status in apparmor package in Ubuntu: New Status in console-setup package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in kbd package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Triaged Status in lvm2 package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in multipath-tools package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in plymouth package in Ubuntu: New Status in ubuntu-meta package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in udev package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in watershed package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Many core packages depend on initramfs-tools when they should actually depend on linux-initramfs-tools (virtual package provided by initramfs-tools and dracut). Debian seems to be using Depends: initramfs-tools | linux-initramfs- tools for almost every relevant package. See also bug #1108987, which is about the fact that dracut shouldn't conflict with initramfs-tools. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1322024] Re: Make Hexchat the default IRC client instead of XChat in Ubuntu 14.10
** Package changed: hexchat (Ubuntu) = ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-meta in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1322024 Title: Make Hexchat the default IRC client instead of XChat in Ubuntu 14.10 Status in “ubuntu-meta” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Since XChat is no longer in development by it's main developer, I was thinking that maybe you guys should make HexChat the default IRC client for Ubuntu 14.10, if it isn't already the default IRC client in Ubuntu 14.04. It's a great IRC client, and it's much better than XChat. So I would really appreciate it if you guys could make HexChat the default IRC client in the next release of Ubuntu.
