[Touch-packages] [Bug 1528321] Re: Everything hangs when coming out of fullscreen in chrome
The HW acceleration is fixed in Version 48.0.2564.103-1 as of today. Latest stable. I tried on Youtube and Javascript based Fullscreen from Treehouse. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1528321 Title: Everything hangs when coming out of fullscreen in chrome Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: If I have hardware acceleration enabled in my chrome settings (which it is automatically), my entire desktop freezes 9 times out of 10 when I come out of fullscreen mode. It doesn't matter whether it's with F11 or a video on a site such as YouTube. Strangely enough, the audio keeps on going. If I disable hardware acceleration, then I don't experience this issue, but I can't use WebGL. My CPU usage also goes through the roof , heating my laptop up, and reducing my battery life.
