Title:
HighContrast WM theme requires log out and log in to take effect

Status in Unity:
  Expired
Status in unity package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  1. Open System SettingsAppearance
  2. Set the theme to HighContrast

  What happens
  ---
The window theme (where the app's title bar, minimize, maximize, and close
buttons are when not maximized) doesn't change. Even running unity --replace
doesn't change the window theme. It takes logging out and logging back in for
the HighContrast window theme to take effect.

gnome-accessibility-themes 3.6.3 includes a new window theme for the
HighContrast theme. The current window theme is stored in gsettings
  org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences

Changing the theme to Ambiance, Radiance, or Adwaita (Adwaita is
included in gnome-themes-standard) changes the window theme without
delay. It's only HighContrast that isn't working right.

  ProblemType: Bug
  DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04
  Package: unity 6.12.0-0ubuntu4
  ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.7.0-3.9-generic 3.7.0-rc6
  Uname: Linux 3.7.0-3-generic x86_64
  ApportVersion: 2.6.2-0ubuntu5
  Architecture: amd64
  CompizPlugins: No value set for
`/apps/compiz-1/general/screen0/options/active_plugins'
  Date: Fri Nov 23 12:01:07 2012
  MarkForUpload: True
  SourcePackage: unity
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1082714] Re: HighContrast WM theme requires log out and log in to take effect

2014-12-16 Thread Andrea Azzarone
Ubuntu 13.04 is no longer supported. Can you still reproduce this on
12.04 or 14.04 or 14.10?
