After it dims, I lose the launcher and instead get just an Orange (looks like secondary screen) with the upper right controls. It stays this way until I click on Sytem Settings... and the it comes back to life. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu Trusty Tahr (development branch) Release: 14.04 My last update was a few days ago.
