[Touch-packages] [Bug 1369474] Re: Conversation tagged with wrong contact after sending sms
[Expired for messaging-app (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60 days.] ** Changed in: messaging-app (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to messaging-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1369474 Title: Conversation tagged with wrong contact after sending sms Status in “messaging-app” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: Mako running MultiROM with #239 1. Enter an existing conversation 2. Send an sms 3. Look at the top of the screen, which have now changed to another contact than in the original conversation. Gives me the creeps when it looks as if I sent a text to the wrong recipient, until I find out that the messaging app is only kidding. Going back, the intended conversation shows at the top of the conversations as it should, and reentering that conversation also shows the correct contact. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1369474] Re: Conversation tagged with wrong contact after sending sms
This is a nasty bug, because I am only encountering it once in a while and so far I haven't been able to determine when it occurs other than just sending an sms to somebody in my phone book. I have seen it with a number of different contacts, whom have no phone numbers in common. Sometimes I get the name of a contact that is no 3 or 4 in the chat list, sometimes it kids me with the no 2 on the list. I just sent a text and did not encounter the bug. I will monitor this further and try to see if it possible to see any kind of pattern. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to messaging-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1369474 Title: Conversation tagged with wrong contact after sending sms Status in “messaging-app” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Mako running MultiROM with #239 1. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1369474] Re: Conversation tagged with wrong contact after sending sms
this could happen if you have multiple contacts with the same phone number.. Could you provide exact steps to reproduce this please, as I am not encountering this issue. ** Changed in: messaging-app (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to messaging-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1369474 Title: Conversation tagged with wrong contact after sending sms Status in “messaging-app” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Mako running MultiROM with #239 1.
