This bug was fixed in the package sysvinit - 2.88dsf-59.3ubuntu5 --- sysvinit (2.88dsf-59.3ubuntu5) yakkety; urgency=medium * Deal with the case where cpu0 might be offline; pick the first available CPU in the list of online CPUs.
