[Touch-packages] [Bug 1454852] Re: Double free in afc_client_free() causes it to crash at boot

2015-05-19 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for your bug report, where did you look upstream which has the same
fix applied? Looking to their current git code that doesn't seem to be the case
http://cgit.libimobiledevice.org/libimobiledevice.git/tree/src/afc.c#n109

** Changed in: libimobiledevice (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided = High

Title:
Double free in afc_client_free() causes it to crash at boot

Status in libimobiledevice package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When I have my iPod 5G connected to my computer via USB 3 ports (not
sure if that matters) upowerd crashes, viewing the stacktrace it
pointed to libimobiledevice and I fixed the issue, but then I also
looked at the upstream and they had the same fix applied. So this
patch should be included in Ubuntu. I don't have the stacktrace
because I don't know how to get the information back as I patched the
package locally and the problem went away.
